Inspired by Russian winters, love affairs, and the fiery novels of Alexander Pushkin, this fragrance evolves from a crisp, citrus opening to a warm, woodsy finish. The result is an aroma that conjures memories, whether you’re sitting by the fire, or off for a wintry walk.
This has got to be one of the best product, I've tried. Great consistency and good quality as well.5
This gives off a scent that surpasses the "manly" smell most men go for. This gives a cleaner upper echelon type of scent. It lets people know you have class and know a good scent. It is very strong so I recommend you only dab the slightest bit and it will last you the whole day.5
Great product, it passed the "girlfriend" test and so I purchased it.5
This a a wonderful scent that's very woodsy. I love receiving cologne samples in my monthly Birchbox. Definitely love this one.5
Enjoyed the warm, woodsy aroma of this cologne. The highly concentrated formula allows for one spritz to go a long, long way.5
I think this smells great! I also got a lot of compliments on it as well. I would definitely consider buying it again.5
I really enjoyed this scent. It's like nothing I've found before in a cologne. I highly recommend this product and am looking forward to purchasing it for myself.5
I noticed a lot of folks commented on the price. Let's get that out of the way first. This is an eau de parfum from a niche fragrance line. This type of fragrance is normally never under one-hundred dollars, but you do get what you pay for. It is concentrated, has great silage, and is blended from quality ingredients. It smells very natural. I love the play between the violet and the leather; I feel that these two ingredients in particular play back and forth throughout the day. Unlike a lot of leather scents, this one is softer, more evocative and less literal. Aleksandr Pushkin, the Russian poet for whom Aleksandr is named, is a national hero in Russia. In his short life, he had love affairs, attended the best parties, wrote poetry like a rock star, and went out of this world in a duel. I can't think of anything sexier than that. Buy this now! Light enough to wear to work every day, versatile enough for summer, spring, winter, or fall, and sophisticated enough for a black-tie affair. Get this, and you will get noticed.5
Very much enjoyed this long lasting fragrance. It has a nice clean smell. Would purchase if it was not so exspensive.5
Let me preface this by saying: I do not wear cologne. I generally find it headache inducing and overpowering, and on a couple of occasions it even irritates the skin.
So with that all out in the open, let me also say: This is an awesome cologne.
At least in part because it manages to evoke a sense of winter -- that "woodsy finish" they mention in the description is accurate. There's a real sense every time you smell it of the best aspects of cold weather, sitting by a fire, or being alone in the quiet after a snowfall.
A little goes a long way (IMPORTANT ADVICE for all men who use cologne!), but it does what I always assume cologne is supposed to do but rarely accomplishes for me, so I'm calling this one an absolute winner.
