Inspired by Russian winters, love affairs, and the fiery novels of Alexander Pushkin, this fragrance evolves from a crisp, citrus opening to a warm, woodsy finish. The result is an aroma that conjures memories, whether you’re sitting by the fire, or off for a wintry walk.
For the price point I expected more and a larger sample. At the price the fragrance should be something transformational and it is not.1
This is such a sensual scent. I became obsessed with this after my boyfriend received it in his Birchbox, and I can't get enough. He liked it but he never makes the move to actually purchase - so I HAD to get it for him for Valentine's Day. I think every man should smell like Aleksandr!5
First of all, I really like the packaging of the sample - simple yet elegant. When I twist off the sample's lid, the first thought that came to my head was "that is a VERY strong scent". I think this is way overpowering for me because i prefer my cologne to be subtle. At least this is good quality overpowering, rather than the cheap-brand cologne that is "kill-your-nose" overpowering. However, the price point for this product is not very attractive.3
I did not like the smell of this cologne whatsoever and will not let my boyfriend use it.1
I really love this fragrance, and it smells even better once I put it on. Great for semi-formal evening wear.5
I didn't like this scent. I much prefer the English Laundry cologne that was sent out last month.1
I like the scent of this cologne, but felt it was just way too much money for me.4
This product smells good but is super expensive-- I'd rather get a cheaper better product.3
This cologne smelled like something my grandmother would use. My wife took one wiff and asked if it was woman's perfume and agreed with the grandmother comment. I would never wear this.1
Overall this was a nice scent. Top notes are strong, but becomes more subtle with time. A good fragrance for colder months. I didn't like it enough to justify the purchase price.3
