Subtle shimmer? Coco Chanel fabulous. Gaudy glitter, on the other hand — more like fashion faux pas. This Parisian brand’s iridescent oil strikes the optimal balance between sophisticated, fun, and just plain good for you. Six essential oils, plus Vitamin E, leave face, body, and hair soft and silky. Better yet, microscopic flecks of golden shimmer deliver a subtle glow, perfect to set off your favorite party frock.
A friend of mine who is an aesthetician gave me a sample of this along with some others a while back. I fell in love and didn't even know where to find it until now. I use it primarily on my legs it moisturizes and gives a nice bronze glow without looking streaky or orange. I also never had a problem with it rubbing off on my clothes. So glad I found it again!!5
This is in my personal beauty hall of fame -- especially in the summertime. The scent is subtle and not flowery, just clean. It gives my skin a subtle shimmer that takes it up a notch without screaming "DISCO" in broad daylight. Oh, yeah, and it's a very good moisturizer. What's not to love? A great everyday essential.5
I love the original oil but the one with the shimmer has a different smell and it isn't pleasant. I won't buy it again.3
This adds a very nice shimmer to hair or body! I primarily used it on my hair. The tiniest drop goes a long way! I have occasionally used it on my body for a night out and really liked the shimmer!5
I love using oils, this one is great for adding shimmer to the skin (especially legs), I use it on top of moisturizer mostly at night for that extra pop of glow (without looking orange). It's not thick, so the remaining bit on my hands goes on the ends of my hair to add a little shine and achieve the separated/piecey look.5
I am absolutely in love with Nuxe Huile Shimmer Oil! I mix a little in with my lotion and use all over, I even put it in my hair when I go out. It gives just the right amount of shimmer.5
With oily skin, I was hesitant to use an oil product on my face but this turned out to be a great product. I use it when I'm not going to wear any foundation and I'm just going to the gym so I don't look too pale. The scent stays faintly on and it smells great!5
Great for a hint of summer during the winter months! I mix with a fragrance free lotion and it gives just enough "glow" without looking like a bronzer. The smell is fresh, not over powering. I have used it in my hair on occasion (minimal amount), however I have fine hair and if too much is applied it can make it appear greasy. Overall, love the product and highly recommend for subtle shimmer on the skin.
I have the full size product and it did not come with a sprayer as mentioned in another review? Would love to see a smaller version sold to trave with.
not worth the money. but it does its job. buy if you've got money to spend and the other cheaper brand is sold out!2
this is ok on skin and all, but the bottle says you can put it in your hair, and it just makes it really greasy and gross. i use hair oils, and they don't jack up my hair like this, so fyi, don't do it. i'm also only giving this one star because when you go to rub it on your arms, decolletage or wherever, more of it sticks to your hand than the body part you're rubbing it on. This is pretty much the only thing I've bought from birchbox that I really regret. It's awful.1
