This scent has a story worth repeating: on a hike in the mountains of Italy, Atelier Cologne founders Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel stumbled upon a rare flower known to locals as the Brunello. They had never smelled anything like it — there seemed to be a whole ambery bouquet contained within the single bloom. After returning home, they were inspired to create a scent that paid homage to their fragrant memory, and Ambre Nue was born. This highly concentrated Cologne Absolue — 18 percent, to be exact — is the latest addition to the Atelier line.
Pretty strong but vibrant and lasts long time. Worth it to try for the winter or fall season.4
It's sweet and so feminine. Definitely some mandarin tones.
I envision strolling through a pretty garden center on a sunny day.
I love the scent and I got rave reviews from my hubby! Just too pricey for my blood.4
Was told this smelled good but it isn't the scent for me.4
This scent surprised me! When I first smelled the sample I wasn't too impressed. But after rubbing a few drops into my skin, the scent mixed well with my body chemistry and had a clean scent that wasn't too overpowering.4
This perfume is lovely -- the amber is warm and cozy while the floral elements keep the scent lively and interesting. I love snuggling up with this in a scarf throughout the day. If only it weren't so ridiculously expensive.4
i like this, but not as much as last months juicy perfume, and definitely not for this price4
This cologne needs to breathe. Every time I opened it and put it on I did not personally enjoy the scent (it smelled very strong and old fashioned.) However once it was on my skin and had a little while to breathe and mix, it became extremely pretty. I had a hard time placing it in any one scent category. The lasting effect was sultry and mysterious while still being feminine and sophisticated. My sample gone, but given the price tag I most likely won't be getting any for myself.4
This is not an everyday perfume for sure, but it's perfect for a night out. It's feminine without being floral, which is tricky to find.4
I like getting perfume samples, although I feel the size of the samples we recieve in birchbox can be obtained anywhere. I wish they were bigger or differnt from any sample you can get from any store. I was not a fan of the smell.4
