This scent has a story worth repeating: on a hike in the mountains of Italy, Atelier Cologne founders Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel stumbled upon a rare flower known to locals as the Brunello. They had never smelled anything like it — there seemed to be a whole ambery bouquet contained within the single bloom. After returning home, they were inspired to create a scent that paid homage to their fragrant memory, and Ambre Nue was born. This highly concentrated Cologne Absolue — 18 percent, to be exact — is the latest addition to the Atelier line.
I tend to like lighter, more floral perfumes, but something about Ambre Nue is just intoxicating. Sensual and rich without being overwhelming, and not too musky. Obviously of great quality, as it really does last all day with just a few dabs on my neck. If the full bottle wasnt so pricey, i would have bought it already!5
This scent reminded me of my dad's aftershave when I was a kid. My husband, who rarely notices a new scent, even mentioned that this "smelled like my grandma"1
This scent is strong. Which might be awesome if you like it, but for whatever reason, the scent is not my favorite.1
I love perfumes and scents but this cologne was probably one of the worst ive ever come across. Its very harsh and not really feminine. Im not even sure if men would like this scent on themselves. Not worth purchasing.1
I know scent is a preference, but this scent is really a scent that you need to LOVE to wear - i found it strong and overbearing2
The scent is really strong and not my kind of scent at all. I washed it off almost immediately after dabbing it on my wrist. I'm giving the sample away1
I did not like this product. The scent was a little too strong and musky for me.1
Somehow this just really hit the sweet spot for me. Sexy, warm and mature; I love it.5
Definitely not for me....Scent was extremely overpowering...actually gave me a headache...will definitely give away!!!!1
Although this smells nice, it's something that I would expect a male, not a female to wear. It's quite heavy.1
