This scent has a story worth repeating: on a hike in the mountains of Italy, Atelier Cologne founders Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel stumbled upon a rare flower known to locals as the Brunello. They had never smelled anything like it — there seemed to be a whole ambery bouquet contained within the single bloom. After returning home, they were inspired to create a scent that paid homage to their fragrant memory, and Ambre Nue was born. This highly concentrated Cologne Absolue — 18 percent, to be exact — is the latest addition to the Atelier line.
I first became aware of Atelier Cologne through a sample that birchbox sent me. I loved it so much I then bought some sample sprays from Birchbox. From there I had to buy a bottle. Yes this perfume is expensive, however this has become my favorite brand and I have not worn anything else in a year. The fragrances are so light and complex. They stay on all day and I get so many compliments on all of my Atelier Cologne. I actually checked out their website and for 30 bucks you can get a sample of all of their fragrances. Lovely, simply lovely. I have turned on friends and family to this brand and I will continue to purchase this brand going forward.5
i loved this perfume from the moment I first smelled it. The is something so sweet and sophisticated about it. Whenever I wore this scent people would ask about it. Simply divine!5
This is a long lasting cologne! The scent is just perfect!5
I love this fragrance. It's heavy with scent, lush and deeply sexy. It's a confident scent. I love to wear it, but I also love it when my husband wears it too - and it feels like it belongs to both of us, in some way.5
I didn't like anything about this fragrance, too strong and musky for my liking. If you enjoy more floral or fruity scents this is not for you.1
I'm more of a sweet or floral perfume kind of person, but I have occasionally liked scents that step outside those realms, so it was with an open mind I tried this perfume. Oh dear, I have to say, I didn't like it from the start! The scent is too heavy, musky and cloying for my liking.1
Admittedly, I didn't really like this scent at first whiff. Right out of the bottle, it does smell incredibly strong and musky. After giving it a chance and allowing the perfume to settle into my skin and mingle with my natural scent, it's my all time favorite fragrance. It is warm, woody and ambery, with delightful floral notes . A perfect autumn scent.4
Truly surprised with fragrance that I received as a sample sometime ago. I am usually skeptical with sample perfumes because a majority of the time they can be quite overpowering or it just doesn't "clique" with my body chemistry. The Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine is definitely not overpowering (I wear it everyday while at work). I have received many compliments while wearing and often hear how it smells so "clean". It's definitely a must have in my cabinet!5
I was not a fan of the sent I am open to getting these type of samples but this one was the worst perfume sample by far tat I have received1
I am an equal opportunity perfume person. My perfumes range from grassy/earthy to sweet to spicy but this one just smells....HORRIBLE. Good thing, it lasts FOREVER! So if you like it, it is very long lasting.2
