This scent has a story worth repeating: on a hike in the mountains of Italy, Atelier Cologne founders Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel stumbled upon a rare flower known to locals as the Brunello. They had never smelled anything like it — there seemed to be a whole ambery bouquet contained within the single bloom. After returning home, they were inspired to create a scent that paid homage to their fragrant memory, and Ambre Nue was born. This highly concentrated Cologne Absolue — 18 percent, to be exact — is the latest addition to the Atelier line.
I purchased a bunch of the small sprays and broke them up for gift giving but kept this scent for myself. It is really warm and a bit spicy. I found that throughout the day, the scent did not change but evolved. The dry down kept the spiciness but was softer. This fragrance is great for colder months.4
I really enjoy this scent! Heavy and sexy, but also very earthy. A nice reprieve from so many of the bubble-gum scents on the market today!4
At first when I tried the perfume I felt like it was a bit too mature of a scent for me but after having it on for an hour or so the scent blended out well for me.4
This is a nice cologne that would smell excellent on both genders. Earthy and inspiring, rich without being cloying. There is a touch of cedar created by the combination of sandalwood and cinnamon, I think. Overall, this is a very nice scent. Not overly feminine, but still beautiful.4
At first I thought the scent was too strong, but after it was on my skin for a while, I really liked it. It's lovely.4
I'm not one to like stronger scents but something about this just screams sexy date night... just sayin! I felt like it was a really different scent that I normally smell and that it smelled..expensive? Not sure if that's the right word but it definitely has some quality to it.4
I really enjoyed this perfume. It's classy, interesting, and just a little sexy. It's subtle enough to wear to the office, but sensual enough for date night. It's definitely on my list of perfumes to consider buying.4
This cologne had a great fragrance that lasted all day long! It wasn't overpowering, and didn't feel oily or sticky on my skin! I loved it!4
I like more fruity, light notes in fragrance (Kate Spade Twirl - from my November box!), rather than sultry, darker tones. Just personal preference, I'm sure a lot of people would love this!4
Need to wear a few more times before I think I fall in love with it. Smells wonderful, but still on the fence.4
