This scent has a story worth repeating: on a hike in the mountains of Italy, Atelier Cologne founders Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel stumbled upon a rare flower known to locals as the Brunello. They had never smelled anything like it — there seemed to be a whole ambery bouquet contained within the single bloom. After returning home, they were inspired to create a scent that paid homage to their fragrant memory, and Ambre Nue was born. This highly concentrated Cologne Absolue — 18 percent, to be exact — is the latest addition to the Atelier line.
This fragrance smells great but is a little too heavy for my tastes. Would be great for a romantic night or something, but would not recommend for everyday use.3
Maybe this is just me, but this smelled like cheap perfume I would find at my grandma's house. An expensive perfume that smells cheap.1
If I didn't know the name of the scent before I smelled it, I would have immediately thought of amber. It's very musky and deep, so not for me. I like light, fruity, floral scents.
This scent would make a lovely room spray or shower gel.
I like that this is a long-lasting perfume, but the scent was too strong/didn't smell nice on me2
I think this scent smells a little too old for my taste.3
I wanted to like the scent, but it just wasn't for me. If you do like the scent, you're in luck, because it has great staying power and you only need a little bit.3
Nice smell and good-sized sample but kind of generic.2
I appreciated how so little went such a long ways, but I wasn't a huge fan of the scent. It is very strong, and the scent reminded me something for perhaps a more mature demographic.2
my sample broke in my box before I could try it but it made my box smell wonderful4
I'm a fan of clean scents. This s too florally for me and because of my bias I really don't care for it.3
