Though we may clash over the spelling of ‘color’ (no ‘u’—thankyouverymuch), we must admit our friends across the pond have us beat in the yummy tea blends realm. To wit, meet this stately collection of three quintessential British teas from renowned brand Ahmad Tea. These classic black teas are the very blends through which the company secured its solid reputation in the tea world.
I love Ahmad Tea. I drink tea a lot, especially in winter; I use a travel mug even at home so that it would also stay warm.
Ahmad is my to-go tea in every situation - and it's good that you can find it all over the world, as I travel a lot. My favorite is Earl Grey (hello, Captain Picard), but I also usually buy English Breakfast or Ceylon.
So, I learned the hard way that even though the teabags LOOK small, they are actually strong enough for a large mug of tea. Okay, so once I got over that first cup, the tea actually has a wonderfully smooth flavor. I love tea tins and this one is really cute. I was able to add more teabags to the tin and it fits neatly next to my coffee maker. Love it.5
After trying the Ahmad tea samples in my box one month, I simply had to look into buying more. I got the Heritage Caddy in English Breakfast and I can't get enough. It's quality tea and the box is so cute. I will likely order more boxes of this awesome tea!5
The tea is quite delicious and I love the tin. I will be using it in the future to hold tea bags in my pantry.5
I received English Tea No.1 as a sample and the flavor is really great. I enjoy most tea only while it is hot, but this one was even nice cold.5
Every time I feel like having a good cup of comfort tea, this is my first choice. Add in a dollop of milk and a bit of vanilla and you have a real treat.5
Good old breakfast tea. Absolutely love it. If you are a tea lover, this should be in your kitchen :)4
The crunchy individual packaging for each tea bag, made it seem special. I like how the tea bags are wrapped. It was good tea. The mint tea tasted like black tea with a little mint. I think the mint tea could go with cream.3
I am a tea nut, especially for an American. I received the English Tea No. 1 as a sample and was unimpressed. It tasted like a mixture of weak English Breakfast and weak Earl Grey. The combination was uninspiring and frankly not strong enough. Boo.2
