It’s probably safe to say that Bettie Page—1950s pin-up model and quite possibly the inspiration for the word “betty”—was comfortable in her own skin. With the sultry siren in mind, holistic skincare line betty&ko™ created this multipurpose facial cleanser (and boy, does it mean business). Using nothing but the purest, most natural ingredients, it leaves behind a smooth, radiant complexion that you’ll be more than happy to show off.
This product has a weird texture, hard to explain but it seems like a homemade inconsistent paste that has lumps in it, not to mention the stuff smells gross.1
I was so excited to try this product. I love Scrubs and this one has a great texture and scent. I used this during my evening shower and that night and the entire next day my face was saturated in oil. My face felt the greasiest it has ever felt and I broke out in several places. I hate this stuff.1
I really liked the smell of this scrub, but I felt like it was difficult to use because the pieces are kind of big. I also felt like the product left my face really greasy and it was difficult to wash off. I definitely wouldn't buy this, I have received other products to exfoliate my face from Birchbox that I liked a lot more than this product.1
I love the smell of this scrub, but the oil left on your skin after rinsing is thick and greasy in my opinion. The sugar pieces are too large and do not buff effectively.
I did not like the smell of it, it was too strong.1
First I was very put off by the unmarked packaging of this product. That doesn't instill a sense of security to me, but that's just my personal preference. Secondly, when I opened it the product was slightly dried out and the smell was way too overwhelmingly sweet/vanilla and just unpleasant to me. I would never use something so abrasive on my face as well as oily too-it would surely break me out! I would use this on my feet and legs but if their target for the product is the face then I feel they definitely missed their mark big time!1
Um, this stuff did not smell pleasant...AT ALL. Both my husband and best friends concur: thus scrub smells like peanut brittle. Not what I want to smell like. Other than that, it was an adequate scrub, just not a very pleasant scent.1
Nothing screams great about this product. First off, the packaging was totally lame - a small black glass jar with no labels. Second, it was such a small amount of product. Third, it does what drugstore brands do - slough off dead skin. Not thrilled with this sample, not purchasing.1
I found this sample to be very cheaply packaged. It has a very gritty texture and I was shocked at the price.1
I didn't enjoy this product. I didn't like the smell very much.1
