Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This product might be great for some, but I personally did not like it. My hair still felt and looked greasy after using it.1
this product smelled nice and worked okay, but I found it awkward to sprinkle in my hair.
The performance of this hair powder was ok but I could not get over the smell. Usually I am a fan of essential oils but this just did not smell good. I had to take a shower after using it because I didn't want to walk around smelling like this hair powder all day.1
I have used many dry shampoos and had high hopes for this one. Not to mention loved the packaging. I had to use the entire sample to make my hair not look horrible and it still looked somewhat bad. That is a bad sign. Going to stick to my other ones that I don't have to use as much of.1
I do not like this product. Extremely messy! I have chemically relaxed hair, and do not like dry shampoos, etc. When I shampoo I prefer to get rid of build up instead of adding it1
Apparently, I ordered this on accident. I've tried Living Proof dry shampoo as well as Bumble and Bumble, Sally Hershberger 24K, Amika, etc. and Lulu Organics is the worst I've tried. It blends in horribly. No, it actually doesn't really blend in. If you have dark hair save yourself the money and the aggravation. I had to wash my hair after putting it on. Luckily I had enough time.1
Unfortunately, I already use a dry shampoo spray that I love and is quick and easy. I gave this a try and it's just not for me. Powder is difficult to disperse evenly. The scent was fine but this price point is higher than I spend on my beloved dry shampoo spray.1
I never use any form of dry shampoo product. Ever. As a woman with very "ethnic" hair, it does my absolutely no favors. I get dry shampoos pretty regularly in my boxes, which baffles me considering that my curly hair is usually very dry.
I tried Lulu Organics® Lavender + Clary Sage Hair Powder in hopes that it would be something I could use after a workout. I sprinkled it on and tried to work it in, but it stuck out like a sore thumb in my very dark hair. And it made my hair feel horribly dry. While it smelled nice (I'm wondering if I can get away with using the rest of the sample as body powder), I would never put this in my hair again. I absolutely would not purchase, and wouldn't recommend to anyone whose hair is dark, or curly, or dry. I really hope I stop receiving these kinds of products in my box.
I don't use dry shampoos or hair powders because I don't like the way they make my scalp feel. I usually get very itchy after using these types of products. I found this one to be especially heavy since it's not a spray.1
I live dry shampoos but the packaging on this is extremely poor. It's so messy to apply.1
