Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
I used it and liked it. The sample did spread everywhere. I like the lavender smell. So did my friends dog. I plan I using the rest.4
I have oily hair and have to wash my hair at least once a day- this is fantastic, especially for my bangs!!!4
This dry shampoo leaves your hair smelling very fresh. It does reduce the shine from going a day past when you should have washed your hair, but it won't add body back (I don't know if any dry shampoo would).4
This product works fairly well. It does remove oil from hair without leaving a strong odor like some dry shampoos.4
My "go to" product for refreshing oily hair is baby powder. Like baby powder, this hair powder leaves a white/grayish hue behind (thankfully, I have light brown hair so this isn't a deal-breaker as I'm able to blend the powder in well enough to still look my age). I did enjoy the scent of this product a great deal more than traditional baby powder, but the results were the same. I wouldn't spend so much more for just a different scent on my day old hair.4
I love that this product is made from quality ingredients. I thought the product worked well and made my hair super chick when I needed it to be :)4
I liked this much more than the current dry shampoo im using. They're equally efficient but this one smells great, not like baby powder like most of them. However, I would prefer a dispenser that is more precise.4
I've used this sample a few times and I do like it better than the dry shampoo samples i've received from Birchbox. The only issue i has is that it is kind of hard to get in your hair without getting all over the floor. But it smells pretty good and I did think that it helped to absorb some of the oil on my roots in between washes.4
I did love this dry shampoo...it smells nice, it works great and it's nice that I'm not spraying a ton of chemicals on my head between shampoos. The sample was a bit difficult to apply, which is the only reason I am a bit hesitant to buy the full sized version.4
I'm still not completely sold on the whole idea of a hair powder. At least this one smells good.4
