Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This product is certainly not for me. I have really thick oily hair and this product did little to freshen up the appearance of unwashed hair. It did, however, provide a pleasing scent, which may help some feel better about going unwashed. This product is also EXTREMELY MESSY.1
I've seen this product in the BB shop and always wanted to try it, so I was happy to see it in my box. It did not work on my hair at all. I have thin, curly hair and an oily scalp. This product did nothing for me. Thats the beauty of BB though for letting me try it before I wasted money on a product that doesn't work for me.1
I've never tried a hair powder so I was happy to find one in my box. The scent was wonderful and gave my hair some body at the roots, but my hair tends to be on the dry side, and it dried out my scalp and made it itchy. Would be better for someone with an oily scalp and less sensitive skin.1
I wanted to like this item but the scent was too much for me. I felt like it was trying to mask something.1
Just not effective. I regularly use dry shampoo and love to try new ones. It seems they were more concerned with having it smell really nice than actually being effective. Fail.1
I can never use dry shampoo, i end up looking like a dirty street person with all of them, less so with this hair powder but its just not a product i need or find works with my hair!1
I like the idea of dry shampoos, especially ones with all natural ingredients...even talc. Talc has been given a bad rap by uninformed people! It is the one mineral that has been analyzed more than any other, and purified as well. It is not anymore dangerous than any other mineral at this time. But I digress. This product smelled great, but, made my hair look dull and lifeless as ALL dry shampoo's do on me.1
It didnt feel like it was working, maybe i was using it wrong
I don't have oily hair so a powder is not effective for me. Would prefer a dry shampoo.
I personally hated the smell of this product. I really don't want my hair to smell like this at all. I also found it really messy to use and left white residue in my hair no matter how much I tried to work it through. I think I will stick with my dry shampoo that leaves my hair smelling great and doesn't leave a mess.1
