Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
I really disliked the scent of the lavender and clary sage powder, it was really unpleasant to me. The powder wasn't very fine, it seemed clumpy and putting it onto my fingers before dispersing the product on my roots made a mess. The white powder left my roots chalky looking and didn't do much towards making my hair feel any cleaner. Also I have thick curly hair and this tangled my hair up even worse than I was expecting. I have found other better dry shampoos that smell so much better.1
I have very oily hair this made my hair look gray after I used it. By afternoon my hair looked oily.
I have curly hair and it never gets greasy so I have no need for dry shampoo, plus i could never brush this into my hair. The smell was really nice though.1
Was excited to get this product, LOVED the smell and the idea..thought I would be buying but I applied it and it BURNS..so dissapointed1
I don't like herby scents for my hair. Herbs are fine for food, but not in my products. The smell of this was horrible to me. I threw out the sample.1
I tried this product despite knowing I am allergic to lavendar. It left a white residue in my dark brown short hair. It did not do an awesome job at removing oil. Was not impressed with the packaging of the sample either.1
Unfortunately my hair doesn't react to clays or dry shampoos well at all! I wish they did though! I gave this sample to my cousin abs she loved it though!1
I tried it twice on my oily hair (1 day after washing) and it made no difference whatsoever. It smelled nice but that's about it.1
Firstly, this only works on blondes as the powder is white. I have dark brown hair and no matter how much I brushed or rubbed it in, it was always faintly visible. Secondly, it was not effective at all. I make my own by mixing equal amounts of arrowroot powder and cocoa powder, and it is MUCH better!1
i wanted to like this but it just didn't work for me1
