Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
I liked the scent, but wouldn't recommend it for someone with asthma. In general I really liked it as a dry shampoo - I put it in my hair before bed and woke up with less-greasy hair, I'd buy it if it weren't so expensive5
I received this as a sample in my monthly box, it worked great, didnt leave a talc look in my hair. I would most likely get another one :)4
Something great to have as an on the go pick me up. Love!3
I really liked this stuff, but the application process was not so great. I also think it is really expensive.3
I liked this powder. It smells nice and worked well on the days in between washing.4
This product smelled nice, but with a short pixie haircut I would rather take a quick shower (hair takes 30 seconds, or less, to dry!) than put dry shampoo in my hair.1
Honestly, I really didn't care for this product. It was messy to use and I don't think it worked that well. The scent wasn't bad but I wound up throwing the sample out after two trials (I applied it right before I was about to take a shower).2
I have been looking for a dry shampoo that you didn't have to spray on. I don't like the chemicals in spray on versions. It is a bonus that this is organic!5
I'd seen this in Birchboxes before and I was always upset that I didn't get to try it. This is probably something I will buy before too much longer. I had been using Oscar Blandi's dry shampoo, but he discontinued the non-spray version that I liked. Knowing it was discontinued, I bought up several bottles, but when I use them up, I will probably turn to Lulu's as a replacement.5
This product is so great! I have oily hair but also color it, so I can't wash it too often or the color fades fast. This hair powder smells great and also works really well to make the hair look fresher by soaking up the oiliness at the roots. Hair goes from stringy-looking to looking like you washed it (admittedly, like you washed it several hours ago... This isn't a miracle product, it can only do so much for my greasy hair. If you are not quite as oily, your hair might look even better!). The smell is pleasantly herbal. The powder is white but doesn't look chalky on my dark hair.5
