Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This works fine, as far as hair powder goes. It did what it was supposed to do, but I didn't like the smell very much.2
i love that this product is natural and pretty effective4
I love this stuff. The smell is relaxing and it makes my hair feel amazing. I love to use it in between washing days for a fresh feel.5
Dry shampoos just don't really work on my hair, but this one worked fairly well.4
The sample lasted quite some time for me, which is great. Now I am upgrading to the full size version. I color my hair and I live in a dry climate. Therefore, I try to wash only every 2-3 days. I love this product for freshening up my hair between washings.5
I like this, but I love the packaging. It smells good too.4
I received a sample of this so maybe the full size would be better, but I found this really hard to use. It got all over my hair but not on my scalp. It smells nice though.3
I've tried a number of high-quality dry shampoos like Oscar Blandi and quick fixes like baby powder in the last couple years but this is my far my favorite product!! The thick chalk-like powder doesn't leave any residue on my brunette colored hair and smells delightfully fresh! I have thick hair too and powders allow me to build the amount of coverage I need. I bought the small lavender and clary sage sizes after my sample ran out (which make great travel sizes) and found myself preferring the clary sage scent. I've since bought the large version of the product and use it as a staple in my hair care routine. It's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way5
This product was a little bit too white for my liking but it smelled very nice. I would recommend it for people with light colored hair.4
I'm liking this dry shampoo powder so far! I noticed the texture and consistency is like baking soda, and lo and behold, the ingredients say baking soda. The powder smells like lavender, but does not smell overwhelming in your hair. It washes easily off your hands. I put a dime-sized amount on my fingers, spread them between my hands, and brushed the powder onto the roots of my hair. So far, my hair doesn't feel or look greasy. I'm leaning towards purchasing this product once I'm done with my sample. Definitely a product worth trying.3
