Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
It smelled great. My problem was, am I supposed to stab along the lines to open it or does it naturally just come out insanely slow . Instead of shaking it onto my hair I had to do it on my hands and rub it in that way. Not the best oil absorber either3
Really Birchbox? How many dry shampoos can you send someone who doesn't use dry shampoo? I'm disappointed. This smells okay... And according to my niece works pretty well.3
This was definitely different from your normal dry shampoo spray. In my dark hair it didn't blend as much as I'd like but the texture was good4
Love this because it's small and really great for travel but also because you can use exactly as much as you want to4
This product did a decent job of fighting the grease in my hair, however the two things I did not like were the messiness of the application and I was not a fan of the sage/floral scent.4
I'm not a fan of the strong smell of this product...kind of a medicinal lavender smell. It's also difficult to shake on4
I have wanted to try this for a long time but it was to pricy for me. Smells great. The can is a little messy I would prefer the spray5
Ok, I did try this product even though I don't really do dry shampoos. I obviously lack the proper skill set to manage this type of product correctly. My hair had white powder around the hairline and my bathroom looked like the winter Olympics downhill ski teams should be arriving any moment.
It did smell nice, though.
I think this may be user error, but I feel like I can't get the product distributed through my roots evenly, thus leaving me with what looks like dandruff. I liked the smell of this and it works well for the middle section of my hair, but for now, it is not going on my crown. I liked this alternative to the spray!3
I really liked the way this smelled and I guess it seemed to do what it was supposed to as far as removing oil, but I found it hard to use since it's just a loose powder. I also noticed that later in the day my scalp felt gritty where the product was. Not a fan.2
