Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
I like the idea of dry shampoos, especially ones with all natural ingredients...even talc. Talc has been given a bad rap by uninformed people! It is the one mineral that has been analyzed more than any other, and purified as well. It is not anymore dangerous than any other mineral at this time. But I digress. This product smelled great, but, made my hair look dull and lifeless as ALL dry shampoo's do on me.1
Running late for work i tossed this stuff in my grimy, unwashed hair and hoped for the best, and voila! It worked and held up all day!!5
It didnt feel like it was working, maybe i was using it wrong
I have always been one to wash my hair every day. One time trying this, and I may change that. My hair gets very limp if I don't wash it every day, and I didn't have that when using this.5
This product works fairly well. It does remove oil from hair without leaving a strong odor like some dry shampoos.4
My "go to" product for refreshing oily hair is baby powder. Like baby powder, this hair powder leaves a white/grayish hue behind (thankfully, I have light brown hair so this isn't a deal-breaker as I'm able to blend the powder in well enough to still look my age). I did enjoy the scent of this product a great deal more than traditional baby powder, but the results were the same. I wouldn't spend so much more for just a different scent on my day old hair.4
really pretty packaging, just a little bit too messy for me. i have long thick hair and it didn't make a big difference, i imagine it'd be good for short fine hair.2
I don't have oily hair so a powder is not effective for me. Would prefer a dry shampoo.
i loved the smell of the lavender but i found that it was not as effective as i wished3
I personally hated the smell of this product. I really don't want my hair to smell like this at all. I also found it really messy to use and left white residue in my hair no matter how much I tried to work it through. I think I will stick with my dry shampoo that leaves my hair smelling great and doesn't leave a mess.1
