Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This product didn't work for my hair. I'm not sure if I didn't use enough powder for my long hair or if it just didn't work.2
This dry shampoo leaves your hair smelling very fresh. It does reduce the shine from going a day past when you should have washed your hair, but it won't add body back (I don't know if any dry shampoo would).4
Product worked very well! Had to really work it in so you didn't see a residue, I am not fond of the smell. I have allergies. The powder does get messy.3
Ok so I'm definitely not a huge fan unfortunately. I think the smell is nice and "earthy" if you like natural smells like that but the fact that its a powder was really difficult for me to get past. Im naturally a rockaholic junkie, I love spray versions way better especially because I have think crazy curly hair and cant necessarily "brush" this product through as it directs.2
I like the idea of dry shampoos, especially ones with all natural ingredients...even talc. Talc has been given a bad rap by uninformed people! It is the one mineral that has been analyzed more than any other, and purified as well. It is not anymore dangerous than any other mineral at this time. But I digress. This product smelled great, but, made my hair look dull and lifeless as ALL dry shampoo's do on me.1
Running late for work i tossed this stuff in my grimy, unwashed hair and hoped for the best, and voila! It worked and held up all day!!5
It didnt feel like it was working, maybe i was using it wrong
I have always been one to wash my hair every day. One time trying this, and I may change that. My hair gets very limp if I don't wash it every day, and I didn't have that when using this.5
This product works fairly well. It does remove oil from hair without leaving a strong odor like some dry shampoos.4
My "go to" product for refreshing oily hair is baby powder. Like baby powder, this hair powder leaves a white/grayish hue behind (thankfully, I have light brown hair so this isn't a deal-breaker as I'm able to blend the powder in well enough to still look my age). I did enjoy the scent of this product a great deal more than traditional baby powder, but the results were the same. I wouldn't spend so much more for just a different scent on my day old hair.4
