Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
Smells amazing, and doesn't discolor or leave a weird chunky feeling like some other powder dry shampoos. This stuff is awesome!5
I had never heard of hair powder before, but I really like this product. I'm past due for a haircut and I was really unhappy with my hair. Using this product gave my hair great texture, and (combined with some other products) made me like my hair again. It's afforded me a few more weeks before I need to get it cut. Also, it smells really nice. Hair powder is now apart of my styling routine.4
I like the product itself. I felt it worked well and did what it was supposed to do. I hated the smell. I smelled like Hippies!4
This dry shampoo works so well at absorbing oils in hair and it doesn't leave a white residue. I have black hair so that is very important to me! A definite must have!5
Tried it once and not convinced on its effectiveness as a dry shampoo. I love that it is organic and it smells lovely. However, I didn't feel that my hair looked less greasy. Maybe I didn't use enough product.3
Fist of all, I had never tried a dry shampoo before sampling this one so I can't compare it to others. I will say I loved the scent. I have oily hair that has to be washed daily, so I love the idea of perhaps skipping a day and using dry shampoo instead. Unfortunately, it seems that's a bit too mush to ask of this product. It didn't help my roots look less oily. I want to like it, and I may try another brand, but it might not work with my hair.3
I have curly hair that I use mousse in & I tried the product but it just frizzed my hair out. Maybe if I didn't use styling products in my hair then it would be alright. I did love the smell though - kinda disappointed that I can't use it.1
I've always struggled with dry shampoos because of how perfume-y/floral they tend to be. This smelled really clean and natural, but still a good scent to make you feel fresh. I have pretty thick hair and it was definitely effective. I think I got an extra two days out of washing my hair with it.4
There was a bit of a learning curve, but this hair powder was nice! The smell was divine, and the packaging was not great, considering there could have been multiple uses, if it didn't spill everywhere.4
Smells great and is good when you are in a time crunch and do not have time to wash your hair. I would rather wash my hair but its a great back up.5
