Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This product smells good, but ultimately my hair doesn't really get oily enough to use it. It just felt grimy when I put it on.2
I am new to dry shampoo, but like this one. nice scent, easy to use and did not show in my dark hair or weigh it down.4
I don't really use dry shampoos very often, but feel obligated to try all the samples in my box. I didn't like the way this smelled and it seemed to be visible in my hair. Maybe I am doing something wrong?2
Like the smell, worked like most other dry shampoos. I prefer the spray so I don't have to touch my hair as much, as it turns oily quickly if I haven't washed it. If you like the powder dry shampoos and use it often I'd recommend this product.4
I love hair powder! I do. Before this sample came in the mail, I wasn't even sure if there was such a thing as hair powder. I've been using talc free body powder from the health food store to keep my roots looking as clean and fresh as the rest of my hair. Doing this gives me 3-4 good days without washing - a very good thing for my dry hair. Now enter Lulu's hair powder. It has a very nice light fragrance. It's consistency - it falls into the hand a bit clumpily, but the powder is actually very fine and spreads into the hair nicely. Once it gets brushed through, it is completely invisible - much more invisible than my usual body powder. I am a little afraid of the price point, but I think the product is a great one. Give it a try!4
omg im so in love with product i just wish it wasnt expensive the smell is amazing!5
This product worked really well and absorbed the excess oil in my hair, however I did not love the smell.3
I tried this product despite knowing I am allergic to lavendar. It left a white residue in my dark brown short hair. It did not do an awesome job at removing oil. Was not impressed with the packaging of the sample either.1
This product smells really nice, but it leaves a bit of white powder in my hair, as many hair powders or dry shampoos do. I'm on the lookout for a dry shampoo and if this product was a bit cheaper, I would purchase it.4
I am blessed by the hair gods and don't ever have greasy hair to use this power on, however I gifted it to my roommate and she loved it and thought it was very effective.4
