Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
first I have curly hair which my hair always has products so dry shampoo is a no no for me buy this powder was a No and no smell was not good and I would never used it even if it smelled good1
I really liked the smell of this product and it seemed to work ok, but it was very messy. I much prefer the spray dry shampoos.3
I tried this as a sub for aerosol dry shampoo on a business trip and hated it. It's hard to tell if any of it is staying in your hair because of the powder and I feel like it takes so much to actually work. I do think that the little that remained in my hair worked and it didn't feel sticky like some other dry shampoos but not worth the hassle of applying. Also smells very good!2
I've never used a powder before but this is amazing! on my 3rd day of no wash this made my hair look like I just stepped outta the shower!.5
I like to try different dry shampoos, but for me the sage smell was too strong, and also the product remained in hair even after I tried my best to distribute. The sage was also too overpowering mixed with the lavender.2
I do get greasy hair, but this stuff can barely handle my second day hair. And it's inconvenient to use. What doesnt absorb if you don't work at it enough ends up sitting in your hair, and throughout the day I can feel the white particles on my scalp still sitting.3
So, this really is a nice product, but for the love! I guess I'm just super clumsy because I just can not get it where I want it to go. If I'm going to use a dry shampoo, I'm reaching for an aerosol. Sorry, Earth.3
I prefer a spray rather than a shake out powder. The shake out is not as easy to get on your hair. I found that most of it ended up on my clothes instead.2
HOWEVER, I couldn't figure out how to use it without getting it all over the place. it was also difficult to get it spread evenly on my hair - weird packaging of a sweet product.3
I wash my hair once a week and see no reason to use some product to clean it in between washings. Completely useless.2
