Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
I've tried two different dry shampoos before and have been fairly disappointed. They always seemed to work okay for a few hours, but by the end of the workday, my hair was greasy and limp. The Lulu Organics hair powder lasted all day--although my hair *felt* limp by the end of the day, it looked shiny and great! I love the smell, but the texture seems a little coarse--if it were a finer powder I think it might blend in a bit better (I have dark brown hair). The only thing that's keeping me from buying it immediately, unfortunately, is the cost!4
As a fine haired blondey; I am forced to wash my hair every day or else I am a walking greaseball. However, now that Lulu Organics Lavender + Clary Sage Hair Powder is in my life, I am free to skip a day! Just a few seconds was all it took to rub my palms together and fingers through the hair.....fresh looking and smelled wonderful. I am a believer!!!5
I am a serious hair powder/dry shampoo user! I did like this product but I felt like it didnt last as long as others do. BUT IT SMELLS AMAZING!!4
It's really beautiful, so fresh, herbacious, and floral all at the same time. It's a really rich scent. The shampoo did the trick, I'm still new to dry shampoo so this was cool to use a powder and watch its effects. It definitely beat the stuff I bought in the drugstore.4
This stuff is an absolute must have! The lightweight powder helps you fake clean hair by absorbing odor and dirt, drying up greasy roots and leaving your hair smelling great.
I've used this multiple days in a row without buildup. A little goes a long way in prolonging or substituting a shampooing!
This product definitely does what it sets out to do. On days where I am rushed to get out the door (pretty much every day as a graduate student) this does soak up the extra oil that has accumulated in my hair. The smell, however, is not something I would normally enjoy, and frankly, I don't like it at all. I love the smell of sage, but lavender not so much. This product, if you enjoy the smell is great, but for me, I can live without it.3
I'm a professional hairstylist, and I found this powder to be very clumpy. Maybe it was the packaging for the sample that made it clump together, but I just didn't like it. There's much better, affordable $16 powder out there2
I love, love the smell of this product! I have very thick hair and this is where the problem started. It did take some of the oil out of my hair but there just wasn't enough of the product for me to give it a full assessment. I am tempted to buy it just to see how well it does!4
never tried dry wash before and i'm quite happy with this one, it simply works on my hair and will consider in purchasing one in the near future.4
Nice product but not something I will purchase all the time- definitely not a necessity...4
