Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
The drying powder isn't designed for naturally dry curls like mine.2
I LOVED the smell of this dry shampoo. It didn't turn my hair white like other dry shampoos do. Maybe it was the small packet, and I was afraid to use too much, but I used a quarter size ammount and it didn't seem to do the job for my whole head.
I did love the smell though and onve I used more it did the job.
The fragrance of the dry shampoo is wonderful, and I love that it isn't a spray (normally I end up inhaling all of the chemicals and feeling stuffed up for hours). I do have to use quite a bit of it to really make my hair look less greasy, but otherwise the product is perfect.5
This product smelled wonderful, but the powder made my hair have static. Maybe it is more suitable for customers with oily hair?3
I've never tried a dry shampoo before, but I liked this as it didn't leave me powdery or oily. I liked the way it smelled too! I had to use a lot more than the dime sized amount it recommended, but I think that may be because I have really thick hair.4
It was not for me. Didn't seem to do anything different. The smell wasn't very good either.1
I've been wanting to try a dry shampoo for a while. I have oily hair but still like to give my hair a breather from shampooing every day about once a week. This product worked wonderfully. It absorbed the oil and made my hair look freshly shampooed. And it didn't leave it gray, which is a complaint I've heard about other powder shampoos. Great smell, too.5
I'm still figuring this one out. It definitely beats washing out hair that was recently at the hairdresser but the idea of putting powder in my hair still feels counterintuitive. I tried it out today and it definitely didn't leave residue but I just can't tell if it's made that big a difference.3
This powder is lovely, smells like freshness rather than old granny powder. The powder goes into the haior nicely and leaves no dust or residue behind. I would imagine this is perfect for thin hair, oily hair, or lots of hair!4
It smells absolutely wonderful. I am the BIGGEST fan of lavender, I just don't think I am sold on the "dry shampoo". I really like that it adds a fresh smell to hair though.4
