Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This is an awesome product and the first hair powder I have ever tried. The smell alone makes this a winner! It smells like fall and the holidays wrapped into one. It is a light powder and did not weigh my hair down. I was worried the white color would be visible, but it blends into my brown hair and you can't see it. All you are left with is a wonderful scent and nice hair!5
I really love the idea of this hair powder but it's kind of a pain to use. You have to shake it out very gently and make sure to only use a tiny bit. I think dry shampoos in a can are easier to use.3
But i am not in love with this product! It worked great and it smells wonderful, however it's not the easiest to use! I think I wasted 1/2 my first sample just trying to figure it all out!4
Although this product does smell and feel better than dry shampoo spray; baby powder works just as well and will save soo much $. It is nice that it doesn't turn your hair gray if you apply to much but I wouldn't $30 on that small difference.3
Not a huge lavender fan but I love the scent of this. It made my hair look and smell so fresh. I sprinkle a small amount in my hand and apply to hair like she does in the video. Then I use a boar brush to distribute. My hair is very dark brown and there is no chalky residue left behind. I am getting the full size of this and hope you bring us more scents! LOVE!5
I've only used dry shampoo sprays before, so this was a nice sample to try out. The scent was good and the performance wasn't bad at all, just had to be careful not to over apply! I think I may prefer sprays because of the easy to use part, but I did like that my hair wasn't heavy feeling and it absorbed well, leaving a nice scent behind!3
This was my first time using dry shampoo, and I'm quite pleased. I love the smell of lavender, so I really liked the scent of the powder. The strong herby sage smell is a bit overpowering when you first pour the powder onto your hand, but the smell gets sweeter after it's applied. The powder absorbs the extra oil nicely, and disappears on the hair without leaving white powdery residue.4
Although I enjoyed using this product, the packaging was very poor so I could not save it for multiple uses. I would like to see it in a resealable container in the future.3
I would usually wash my hair by day 3, but this helped me go an extra day. I thought the scent was good, but it looked a little white in my hair at first.4
For me this product was just okay…but then again I've never been a big fan of hair powders. They just don't work well with my hair texture.3
