Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This is a great product, works really really well and smells AMAZING5
This is the best dry shampoo I have ever used! You don't need much - just follow the directions and your hair looks washed and ready in just a minute. So easy - I've moved to just washing my hair 3 days a week now, so it is much healthier. The scent is an earthy scent, but not overpowering (plus, I'm usually putting hairspray on as well). I've tried a few different brands, and this is by far the best. I've got very dark hair, and it blends well (as long as I don't use too much...you don't need much!).5
I am a firm believer in not washing your hair everyday and this has become my new best friend! It definitely gets you at least one more day of not washing and smells great!5
The packaging and usefulness makes it a good gift, but the powder is messy and the scent is just okay. Definitely prefer a spray or other types of powders over this.2
I wash my hair almost everyday and though i've tried a few hair powders -- oscar blandi, b&b -- i found they left my hair stiff and dull and smelling a bit powdery. I was in a pinch waking up late for work the other day and gave this sample a whirl, I thought it did a nice job. My hair made it through the day without feeling greasy, it didn't look dull or dusty either and the scent was quite pleasant.4
I used this is my daughters hair after a long day at school to go to dinner. It worked well and absorbed the excess oil leaving her hair looking clean and smelling nice.4
I've tried several different dry shampoos, this one has similar results as others. I received a sample in the November Birch Box and there was enough to try it several times. The packaging recommended using a dime size amount but I found I needed 2-3 dimes worth for my slightly past shoulder length hair (thick but straight texture). The lavender smell is strong initially but fades fast. I found application to be a little tricky- rubbing between palms and applying to roots. My hair did still look a little dingy after application, but I've found that's pretty standard with any dry shampoo I've used.3
The smell of the powder was like cooking herbs, product worked well just didnt like the smell, I've always used baby powder which works great and smells better than this product1
very great product, doesn't leave a grimy feeling in hair like some dry shampoos or powders do. i would recommend this product to people who don't wash their hair everyday.4
I have tried other dry shampoo products. This is far and above the best one I have tried. Love it. The scent is great and the product did not feel "heavy" in my fine hair. I will actually be able to skip a day shampooing now!5
