Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
This does not work!!! Suave dry shampoo from Walmart does a better job. Shame.2
It smells wonderful but I can't see any difference in my hair and it feels gritty after using.3
I am a sucker for anything lavender and for a solution to my occasional laziness in which I fail to wash my hair. This satisfies the best of both dilemmas. The powder has a nice feel to it; as through it's definitely going to freshen your hair, but not so much as cake it with product. The scent is awesome and calming and it does a pretty good job making your hair look less of a sloppy mess. It seems a bit pricey, but also on par for most other decent dry shampoos and powders- and again, it's all natural, organic and not tested on animals. I plan on purchasing the full size once my sample starts to dwindle a bit more (there was a lot more there than I initially thought!).4
I am not familiar with dry shampoo so not sure it was necessary for me.3
I live in the south, and my bangs tend to get greasy looking in the heat. When I tried the Lulu Organics Hair Powder, it made my bangs look clean and and fluffy and not oily any more. I did not have to work at all to get rid of any powdery residue, but just went over my bangs with a flat iron and left the house. Much faster than washing my hair or even just washing my bangs. I also love that it's not an aerosol spray, like most of the dry shampoos I've seen.4
I've never used an alternative such as this hair powder as a dry shampoo.I'm not really sure if I like it or not.It smells strongly of lavender and herbs.I still prefer a good dry shampoo along with a spray-on hair perfume.I have black hair and I felt I had to REALLY rub this in so as to not look like I've lived in an attic, covered in dust!3
Love dry shampoo! Love this dry shampoo! Love the scent!!!5
This is the first dry shampoo that actually works and smells good that I have tried.5
This stuff smells AMAZING. The only reason I am not planning to purchase this stuff is my hair never gets oily. But that divine smell is almost worth it.5
While I like the idea of dry shampoo, my hair is simply too oily to use it although I did enjoy the scent of this one.2
