Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely lavender scent laced with the faintest trace of herbal clary sage. And since it leaves no chalky white residue behind, even dark-haired girls can use it.
I rarely use dry shampoo and if I need to I am just as happy with baby powder. I do like the smell though.2
Not sure about this. It smells amazing, but I don't know that it helped my hair at all. Maybe next time I try it I'll use more of the product, instead of the directed amount.3
First try didn't see any noticeable results, but may not have used enough. Smells wonderful and love the talc-free aspect, so will try to make it work.3
I don't wash my hair everyday and I'm always on the lookout for a good dry shampoo for days when my hair needs a little pick me up. I thought the Lavender + Clary Sage Hair Powder worked great. Soon after I applied it my hair felt fresh again. I tend to like spray dry shampoos because they're easier to apply but I didn't find this product that hard. Also, unlike some other powder dry shampoos, it didn't leave my hair with a white layer. It also smells great! I will definitely consider buying this product.4
I like what it does to my hair, which is soaks up some of the oil. I don't care much for the scent, I think if it was just lavendar I'd give it a 54
great product and smells AMAZING... very expensive though5
I like this product a lot. Compared to dry shampoo, it didn't make my hair impossible to manage and it didn't make my hair feel sticky or still greasy- dry shampoos do this to me, a little. I love the smell of the product, too- lavender is one of my favorite scents. My only issue was with the texture of the product. I watched the how-to-use video, and I couldn't use it that way. It's impossible to rub the palms together without the powder flying everywhere, and, since the powder is so loose, I had a hard time getting it to my hair, without slipping out of my hand. Once it got into my hair, though, it was perfect. It felt light and clean and it made my hair perk up and look styled even though it wasn't.4
This is really, really amazing. I would often use talcum in my hair before, but it's been tricker since I've started keeping it darker. There's none of that rubbing it in or getting it stuck in your part -- plus, it smells fantastic, and doesn't have that cakey feel. It's basically perfect.5
Never tried this type of product before but it actually works and smells amazing!5
Love the smell, but I don't use dry shampoo often enough to spend the money on it.4
