The ponytail: No longer the last-resort hairstyle of mornings when we’ve overslept. With a little help from L. Erickson’s Claire Cuff Pony, the simplest of updos has gotten a chic upgrade. Use this cuff in place of a run-of-the-mill hair tie—and to add some sophisticated flair to your look.
I got the hair tie in Tokyo (dark brown/black). I love it. It refines my pony tail for bad hair days or sleep in days. It looks so chic. It goes with everything I wear, and I feel a touch more put together for the day.5
I purchased this in "Tokyo" - beautiful, and absolutely worth the price, high quality, but a few things: first, I wish there was a way to replace the elastic that is attached. The elastic that is there is just fine, but once it wears out there's no way to replace it short of cutting it out, and tying another one on (which involves cutting another elastic to get it through the hole) Also, I wish it came in different sizes. I have very thick, wavy hair, and it doesn't quite fit around my ponytail. I may experiment and try it after I have straightened my hair (it seems sleeker and takes up less space in a ponytail that way) but as it is, my ponytail is apparently just too thick for this, but this is a problem I have often with hair accessories! If this had worked for my hair I was planning on buying several because I love putting my hair in a ponytail in the hot weather, I would just like to dress it up a bit, especially at work.4
This is a great way to take a ponytail to work! I've had it for a while, wear it regularly and the elastic has held up incredibly well (meaning it hasn't stretched out like some tend to do).5
Very clever idea that works well. I'm very pleased with these and I bought more. I wish they came in more colors and styles. I'm very pleased.5
The color is pretty but the actual cuff will not fully close. Bummer since I was looking forward to using it. It would make a ponytail look stylish and polished. This would work best on fine hair, not wavy thick hair like mine.3
This is just ok. It does the job and does clean up a pony nicely for work. The elastic doesn't have much "give", and it's thick, which combined with my hair (which I don't consider to be all that thick), the cuff doesn't fit well around my pony.3
I have fairly thick hair and this cuff works for me. Fun turquoise color and makes my ponytail look a little more put together.4
I wear ponytails a lot so I thought this would be perfect for me, and it is. Makes my ponytail appear much more sophisticated. However, I do have a hard time putting it in.4
This is really cute and a nice way to chic-en up a ponytail, but the cuff is a little small. I don't consider my hair thick, but I couldn't close the cuff all the way.4
I absolutely love the L. Erickson Claire Cuff Pony. It is easy to put on, seems of a durable weight (but not too heavy to give a headache), and adds enough style to make a ponytail work appropriate. The only downside is that the product is a bit pricey.4
