When we hear words like “nourish” and “conditioning,” the first product that comes to mind isn’t typically mascara. Borghese’s Superiore State-of-the-Art Mascara has arrived to shift our frame of reference. (We would expect nothing less from the luxury brand, which has a deep-rooted heritage dating back to the 14th century, yet is continuously innovating.) This long-lasting formula not only lengthens, separates, and curls, it moisturizes and strengthens lashes too, thanks to the brand’s exclusive Acqua di Vita "Living Water" Complex®. Superiore, indeed.
Hello old friend! I'm back! I've always loved the Borghese products and have used many items from the line back in the late 80's, early 90's, but then sort of drifted away from my loyalty. I used to buy their beautiful eyeshadow kits, which always came with the Mascara, which I loved too. I'm not sure if this is a new mascara formula, or just a new name for their tried and true successful mascara, but I still like it! The Borghese Superiore State-of-the-Art Mascara does not dissapoint. It's still easy to apply and you don't need many coats to get the coverge you want. The brush is pretty standard issue, but it works well, so no need to change it. My favorite part about all the Borghese products, is that the pigment always lhold their color well, and this mascara does not flake or smudge during the day.4
Like this mascara! I used it with other mascara! As a finish! Made lashes more full!5
Didn't care for this mascara. Took a lot of coats to see anything and most of the time left black smudges under my eyes by the end of the day.2
Smells nice and works great. I will consider buying it! Xxxxxxxxxxxx5
I always have problems with mascara running and making my under eye area turn black. This does not appear to do that. It does take several coats to really see it, but it doesn't clump!3
The brush is almost too high quality, it does incredibly well with not clumping any lashes at all, however this makes it incredibly hard to coat the lashes with the mascara. My lashes are blonde and it took me twice as long to coat them, and I still ended up going over it with another mascara I had.2
I have a lot of drug store mascaras better than this. Didn't find this mascara very effective :( but I used it to separate my lashes... so that's something right?2
Loved the color but I didn't care for the brush. It didn't last long in the eye lashes. I am glad I got to try it out. Thank you Birch Box for sending it.3
This mascara lasted all day and didn't feel sticky or heavy. I noticed the separation and lengthening of my lashes but not any extra curl. This is on my favorites list!4
This is one of the best mascaras I have used as far as non-clumpling goes. I have tried many over my lifetime and this one is reasonably priced. It did not, however, curl my lashes. I highly recommend it and would give it as a gift to girlfriends.5
