When we hear words like “nourish” and “conditioning,” the first product that comes to mind isn’t typically mascara. Borghese’s Superiore State-of-the-Art Mascara has arrived to shift our frame of reference. (We would expect nothing less from the luxury brand, which has a deep-rooted heritage dating back to the 14th century, yet is continuously innovating.) This long-lasting formula not only lengthens, separates, and curls, it moisturizes and strengthens lashes too, thanks to the brand’s exclusive Acqua di Vita "Living Water" Complex®. Superiore, indeed.
I have very sensitive eyes and this mascara did not bother me and I have used it 3 times. I also like the fact that it was not too stiff after it dried.5
When I used this mascara, it was like I'd used nothing at all. I'm happier with my $2.99 drugstore mascara.1
This mascara must be for people who already have thick lashes. My lashes are long and thin, and I need something to thicken them. This mascara is great for adding color, but does not add dimension or thickness to lashes.2
Unfortunately this mascara just didn't seem to stick well to my lashes. Halfway through my work shift I had smudges on my lower eyelids. I will continue to use my current mascara.2
Love how it applies, can do multiple coats without clumping, wore all day with no flaking5
I tried using this mascara and no color transferred to my lashes. I would not recommend this product.1
I wasn't very impressed with this mascara. It didn't work any better than my drug store brand and certainly not better than other high end mascaras.3
Nice consistency and easy application. Will consider purchasing in the future!4
I have long lashes to begin with so I usually go for a thickening type mascara. This kept my lashes normal but a lengthened look. I did need to layer it on which I never have to do with other mascaras. The wand didn't seem to grab much mascara from the bottle. With my current mascara I can pull it out once and do both eyes. However, because I had to go back over several times to get the mascara on my lashes and off the wand, I didn't have as many touch ups to do.
Still iffy about this one. I'm just not sure about the lack of product on the wand/brush. Makes me wonder how much mascara is in the bottle.
I like the thickness of this product though I don't love the brush.4
