When we hear words like “nourish” and “conditioning,” the first product that comes to mind isn’t typically mascara. Borghese’s Superiore State-of-the-Art Mascara has arrived to shift our frame of reference. (We would expect nothing less from the luxury brand, which has a deep-rooted heritage dating back to the 14th century, yet is continuously innovating.) This long-lasting formula not only lengthens, separates, and curls, it moisturizes and strengthens lashes too, thanks to the brand’s exclusive Acqua di Vita "Living Water" Complex®. Superiore, indeed.
For me, this mascara just wasn't quite right. You have to use a lot before it really looks like anything about your eyelashes have changed. Because of this, I will use my sample, but then when it's gone, I'll go back to my favorites.3
it went on nice and didn't get very clumpy. i don't like it as much as my regular mascara but it wasnt bad4
This mascara wasn't great. After a few coats it was almost like there was still nothing on and no effect. It might be good if you want something really light and barely there, but it did not have a great effect for me.2
I was impressed with this mascara. It did not get sticky and tacky on my lashes. It seemed to lengthen and curl them. Also it was not hard to remove when taking my makeup off at night.4
I like the formula, but I didn't really care for the wand so much. When I use it, I dip my Tarte mascara wand in it.3
This was a nice mascara, it felt good going on and it wasn't hard to take off. I don't think it's any better than others in its class or even less expensive products.4
This worked well and looked great. I liked it but it doesn't replace my every day mascara but I'll use the sample.4
This was a good product, but not my favorite by any means. It goes on smoothly, but you need several coats for it to make any sort of appearance on your eyes. I would go with a different product if you have the choice.4
I'm not going to lie, I can't tell the difference with mascaras. Perhaps because I have pretty long lashes to begin with, but no matter the brand or the price, I don't notice a difference. Same goes for this one. There's nothing bad about it, I just wouldn't give up my $7 to spend more on this one, as I don't see any difference.3
Did not do much for short lashes. This mascara only defined the lashes. Did not get any thickening or extending effects.1
