The entire Birchbox team (minus the manfolk) is obsessed with Jouer’s Luminizing Moisture Tint and we're not alone—Allure has given the product its coveted ""Best in Beauty"" seal. The oil-free formula feels weightless but gives you plenty of coverage, and because it has light-diffusing minerals your skin looks flawless and glowing. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes, soothes, and protects your complexion, thanks to antioxidant-rich ginseng and gingko biloba leaf extract plus broad spectrum SPF 20.
I'm black with yellow undertones... I have color matches in many many foundations -including drugstore brands - but this was too light & too gold. I ended with that dreaded "ashy" look. I'll try to blend with my own foundation in the winter for a glow... I wanted a light dewy finish for summer... this wasn't it.1
This tinted moisturizer is very good indeed! it covered naturally and didn't make my face look too cakey or makeup-y. stayed put all day long and even after taking it off I noticed a difference (for the better) in my complexion!4
I got a sample from my Birchbox and feel in love with it the first use. The tint is light and does not feel heavy on your skin. Plus it doesn't clog your pores!5
This looked great when first put on. It looks oily a few hours later and then by the end of a 10 hour shift it is no longer on my face
Right, so when I first used this product I liked the smoothness and shade of it but I noticed it was very glittery which isn't my taste at all. If you like shimmer, go for it! I like everything else about it the Jouer product.4
I love this moisturizing tint. It gave me perfect, blended coverage and paired well with a stick blush for a dewy look. The overall finish is definitely a bit shiny, so when I want a more matte look, I swipe a loose layer of translucent powder over the top.5
I liked that it was lightweight so that felt great considering it's summer in Florida but I didn't like how shimmery it was. To put it clearly, I felt like a vampire in Twilight. I'd love something like this without the shimmer. I prefer a more natural look.3
I tried this product over moisturizer and sunblock and noticed it didn't blend outwards to good. I think the sunblock made it hard for it to go on evenly and smooth. So the next day I tried it on without having used sunblock and it was a little bit better. I know it's a moisturizing tint but it really didn't offer any coverage at all nor was it build able either. So I tried it mixed in with my go-to foundation on the back of my hand and applied it with a sponge & I loved how it gave the foundation a boost of glow & radience! It's a good product but for me it's better mixed with foundation.3
Initially I felt that this made my skin feel smooth and I liked the color, but any time I catch a glimpse of myself in natural light I'd worry it looked like I had on tons of makeup. It had a "glow" that was nice, but I had to be really careful that I rubbed it in well and watched the edges of my face/chin for streaks.3
Very nice coloring on this sunscreen! It is hard to blend though. Overall would use again, it's moisturizing and helps keep my skin nice while I'm in the sun.4
