The entire Birchbox team (minus the manfolk) is obsessed with Jouer’s Luminizing Moisture Tint and we're not alone—Allure has given the product its coveted ""Best in Beauty"" seal. The oil-free formula feels weightless but gives you plenty of coverage, and because it has light-diffusing minerals your skin looks flawless and glowing. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes, soothes, and protects your complexion, thanks to antioxidant-rich ginseng and gingko biloba leaf extract plus broad spectrum SPF 20.
I have actually had this product in my favorites for a long time and have been waiting to try it so I was very excited to see it was coming in my box. I loved the texture, consistency and coverage of it, but it just made me look yellow.1
I used the lightest shade they make, and it was still too dark for my complexion. I started applying it and quickly realized it was two shades too dark. I like my fair, healthy skin, and I'm keeping it that way.1
I have oily skin and this product only intensified it. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be for me, but decided to give it a go anyways. The finish is dewey and there are flecks of shimmer in the product. It never absorbed into my skin, and I just wanted to wash my face all day. Perhaps someone who has dry dull skin would like this. I'm a little annoyed because I thought the whole point of having your Beauty Profile was so you could receive products suited for you. I'm all for trying things out of my comfort zone, but not for things that blatantly aren't going to work for me.1
I honestly can't tell if this did anything. I wear CC or BB cream on a daily basis and also use it as a base for foundation when I'm getting ready for a night out. So, this type product is something I use everyday. However, I don't think it did much, if at all. The tint was barely there, so I don't think it gave me even the tiniest of coverage. Maybe the SPF worked as I didn't get burned today, but at best I would say this functions as a super expensive sunscreen.1
I used this product as the first layer of my makeup, replacing my cc cream with the tinted moisturizer. I gave it a good 10 minutes to soak in while I worked on my eye makeup. Unfortunately, applying foundation on top of this made it feel like my foundation was sliding off of my face. While the product may be oil-free, it certainly felt oily/sat on top of my skin instead of blending in and drying matte.1
I like to use tinted moisturizers or BB creams when I go to the gym in morning because they're light and don't look like I just rolled out of bed (which I did). This one was too shimmery and sparkly with no coverage. It left my fingers covered in shimmer. I was pretty disappointed in it.1
i put this on the back of my hand and it was quite a few shades darker than my skin tone. i have fair/light skin. this is like medium/dark. i was unable to use the product.1
Way too glittery for me. I worried I looked like a Twilight vampire. I actually washed it off and started over with something else. Seems best suited to the 12-15yo crowd.1
It wasn't for me. I haven't really used it much because I didn't like it. Maybe someone else will hopefully1
I'd rather just wear a face sunscreen and they my foundation on top - the coverages is so light that there's no reason to deviate from my current plan- I still need something to use as 'cover up'.1
