The entire Birchbox team (minus the manfolk) is obsessed with Jouer’s Luminizing Moisture Tint and we're not alone—Allure has given the product its coveted ""Best in Beauty"" seal. The oil-free formula feels weightless but gives you plenty of coverage, and because it has light-diffusing minerals your skin looks flawless and glowing. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes, soothes, and protects your complexion, thanks to antioxidant-rich ginseng and gingko biloba leaf extract plus broad spectrum SPF 20.
I've used all sorta of BB cream. This one absorbed well, just left my skin looking wet. It had a slight shimmer to it. If that's what you are looking for, you'll love it leaves skin feeling soft. Not for me though.3
I found this to be pleasant to use, and the slight luminescence it adds is attractive, but not obvious. The scent is nice, but not strong.4
This product is great! It is so lightweight and has a little shine to it which makes my skin look bright and healthy! Love it!5
This will be my new go to tinting moisturizer! It brightens my face, people think I'm even in a better mood when I wear it.5
I really like this luminizing tint, but it took a couple of applications to figure out how to apply it appropriately. I first followed the included guide, but the next time I applied it, I used my own judgement and applied it to just under my brows and on the tip of my chin: perfect. Otherwise, I just had a big shiny face! Also, note that a little goes a LONG way. Seriously, a pinpoint or two of tint is all you need for one area.4
I felt like the color was a good match...had just enough shimmer, just felt like it wasn't enough coverage for my face.5
The product was a little sticky on the skin, which was surprising to me being that its a moisturizer. It actually felt quite drying to me, and for some reason it was very dark on me, though I did get the fairest color in the set.3
The good things: this feels nice, gives a little bit of coverage, and has SPF.
The bad: I just tried to wear it without any powder over it, and I noticed that, in the sun, it looks like I've covered my face with glitter. The "luminizing" aspect of this is too strong to wear it by itself.
I used this sample product while I was at the beach and fell in love with it! It is weightless, oil-free, and spf 20! Will be purchasing this.5
This is a more shimmery BB cream-style product that is best worn on its own (without powder or primer). It's great for getting out of the house in a hurry without looking like naked face. I applied it with a foundation brush which I think makes a huge difference in getting even coverage (makeup brush application = strong recommend). Without the brush it's kind of slippy/goopy/hard to apply. But with it's great. I plan to buy this for summer.5
