The entire Birchbox team (minus the manfolk) is obsessed with Jouer’s Luminizing Moisture Tint and we're not alone—Allure has given the product its coveted ""Best in Beauty"" seal. The oil-free formula feels weightless but gives you plenty of coverage, and because it has light-diffusing minerals your skin looks flawless and glowing. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes, soothes, and protects your complexion, thanks to antioxidant-rich ginseng and gingko biloba leaf extract plus broad spectrum SPF 20.
I didn't like that what makes the moisturizer "illuminating" is that it's actually got glittery bits in it. You can really see it on your hands after application. I like a dewey look, but I hate sparkle. Not for me.3
Usually, products similar to this have made my skin break out. I was very scared about trying this product, but I'm very happy I did! This is the first product that hasn't broken out my skin and goes on very smoothly.4
Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint is a very good product. Lightweight and goes on easy and blends well. My sample however was a bit too dark for me. I use a similar product already that I am happy with but the product seemed to do what it claimed to do.4
For those lazy days this is great. Goes on like lotion, but those ingredients!!! eew, parabens, preservatives..etc no way!2
This did not blend well in my skin. When I looked in the mirror I had orange shimmery streaks all over my face. It just would not blend in in a natural way. Maybe it would work better for someone else with a different skin tone and color but it did not work for me.2
I was skeptical at first using this product as it does shimmer, however I found that it worked well both by itself and as a primer under my regular foundation. I would recommend!5
Looooooooooooove this product! Makes your skin so glow-y and radiant! Feels so light on your skin. You barely notice that you're wearing anything.5
Blended well. It was smooth and left my skin feeling soft. I was sent the perfect shade for my coloring.5
The shade pearl was just right for me, I usually take light with most foundations. It had cool tones which helped bring out a more olive complexion which I like. Even though I have dry skin, it was a little too moisturing for me especially on warm days where it hit the 80's, it got sticky when I started to sweat, but this can't be helped with most liquid foundations. I might try this again in the winter when my skin is a bit more dry.4
Let me preface by saying that I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin. While this product was non-irritating, my skin did it's usual thing when applying a product (got red). The concealing aspects of the cream were not strong enough to conceal my redness. However after my skin calmed back down, the cream did give my skin a nice, even tone. It's gentle, light, protects from the sun, and subtly shimmery. I think for a person who doesn't have skin problems, this would be a LOVELY addition to their bag of tricks. I know if my skin wasn't so problematic, I'd seriously consider the $40 price tag and get it.4
