The entire Birchbox team (minus the manfolk) is obsessed with Jouer’s Luminizing Moisture Tint and we're not alone—Allure has given the product its coveted ""Best in Beauty"" seal. The oil-free formula feels weightless but gives you plenty of coverage, and because it has light-diffusing minerals your skin looks flawless and glowing. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes, soothes, and protects your complexion, thanks to antioxidant-rich ginseng and gingko biloba leaf extract plus broad spectrum SPF 20.
I typically don't care for tinted moisturizer and when I saw this I thought it looked to shimmery but I was so pleased when I tried it! I loved it and it didn't appear shimmery once on. It provided a nice sheer coverage for light/no makeup day and did feel moisturizing too. I will definitely buy this5
Correct color for me, good texture, nice tint, love that it is a sunscreen - perfect for summer!4
It was a hair too light, but not too bad. It evens out skin tone as well as I would expect a tinted moisturizer to do. If I didn't have skin products that I already love, I would consider this one.4
Perfect shade for my fair complexion. Has a little shimmer to it as well making it great for summer time. Isn't too heavy but covers well4
I got this as a sample in my birchbox and was not impressed. It did not offer enough coverage and made me feel too sparkly. It also felt heavy on my face compared to the full coverage foundation i already use. It also made me break out, so think twice if you have acne prone skin.2
This Jouer Highlighter is great! It matches my skin tone beautifully, blends very nicely, isn't overpowering in shimmer, and has great staying power (over primer, set with translucent powder, under a finishing spray and on a warm day) so yes, I would buy this in the future and I also recommend it.5
I'll preface this review with my dislike of tinted sunscreen. It isn't a high enough SPF for me to get over that hump - I have an SPF 20 from Clinique that is white but goes on clear and is just lovely. This one doesn't take the place of foundation, but I'm finding it difficult to decide on when to use it.
Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to, so in that it works.
I really like the fair color this one had. It went on nice and smooth and didn't leave a cake line on my nose area.4
this sunscreen was super soft and felt really light on the face. I normally don't wear sunscreen but this makes it easy.4
My sample was a touch dark for me, but the formula was so lovely! Alone it didn't feel too heavy or thick, but gave good coverage.5
