It’s safe to say that the company that makes more than 150 brush styles knows a thing or two about hair. And this is their ode to short coifs. The boar bristles put hairs in their place while the nylon bristles curl them in the direction of your choice. Brushing evenly distributes natural hair oils and removes unwanted dead strands from the scalp.
I am super picky about brushes, so when my old faithful went kaput a few weeks ago, I've been on the hunt ever since. This is just stiff enough to hold strands in while blow drying, and gives me a great defined curl.5
No complaints about this brush except that it is probably meant for thicker hair than mine. My thin hair gets pulled too tightly and it doesn't help with the frizz. However, I've found that by using the right styling products and using it to blow dry my hair, it works a lot better and dries my hair quickly and smoothly.4
This barrel brush far exceeded my expectations, after searching for the perfect one for over a year. Well worth the price for me! I have fine hair just above the shoulder and I use it when blow-drying my hair to make sure all my layers are going the right way. Usually, my hair has a mind of its own, but this brush demands obedience!! ;)5
