Blackheads beware: This unassuming bottle holds the key to smoother, brighter skin—in the form of scorched bamboo. Made from the eco-friendly plant, this special soot is known for absorbing impurities and clearing pores in a single wash, while salt in the formula banishes blemish-causing bacteria. Together, these two put pollutants in their rightful place: down the drain.
This is a great product to mix into your cleanser or face serum. The charcoal is really great for pores. After I used it for a week or so, my face was much clearer and my pores did not look as large. I noticed a difference when I stopped using it for awhile. It does contain sea salt so use two or three times a week because too much may dry out the skin depending on the skin type. But overall I love this product.5
But now I'm really liking it. I use this by adding it to my favorite cleanser. It really feels like I'm getting the grime off of my face. Too strong for me to use daily (and I have pretty durable/forgiving skin). If you leave it on too long you can def feel the salt-sting. I feel like it is clearing the blackheads around my nose (the only place I get them) and that it is detoxing my skin. The first few times I used it I had a few breakouts but for me that lets me know its clearing out the junk! The sample size is GREAT! I'm still using it. The full bottle will last a long time.4
This was perfect my face felt so smooth after using and it didn't feel too rough at all. I love that you apply to your own cleanser.5
I love all things natural and charcoal-based face products are among my favorites. I like how natural this product is and the way my skin feels after using it.4
This is the first dry exfoliant product I've tried & I actually like that I can add to any cleanser or use with water. I also like that it contains the charcoal for detoxing impurities. In fact, it seemed to work! (Go figure, a product that does what it says lol!) I will use up the rest of the sample and re-evaluate. So far, so good.5
I was not expecting this product to be a powder but it comes in a nice shaker which makes it very easy to add to other face washes. I can be a little more abrasive than I would like but since it is a powder you can just adjust the amount you use. I definitely feel and see a difference in my skin after use it leave my skin feeling tight as well as smooth. I plan on purchasing this again.4
This stuff is awesome, it is salty like it says but it works great on the face... I don't use it daily but few times a week in the shower.5
I really love this product. it's (kinda) natural. and the grains are fine enough to be effective. the biggest problem I run into with scrubs (apricot or other) are that they do a good job but the grains are large and function as such. The finer salt grains are much more effective. two things: 1. it IS salt ... don't let it touch or run onto your lips ... you'll have a hard time getting rid of it. 2. the instructions say "quarter size" amount ... don't do that unless you want raw sun-damaged skin. I started with a dime size amount with my cleanser and found that is enough. ~toodles5
Good exfoliant. I like that it doesn't take much to get the job done but if you want to use a little more, it doesn't take much more. Good size. It has lasted a while but I only use it 2-3 times [sometimes less] a week.4
The only thing that got rid of my blackheads. I have used all the well known products that guarantee to work but never did completely like this product. Cleared a lot of acne. I recommended to all of my friends that struggle with acne.5
