I had high hopes for this cleanser, and packed it in my case to use exclusively during a business trip. After 10 hours on the road, I wanted nothing more than to wash off my makeup and go to bed. Unfortunately this cleanser barely removed my makeup, but it was frothy. I had to use another brand of cleanser to finish the job, which thankfully, I had packed. It's nice for mild face washing, but not removing makeup.2
I've purchased this before because I really like most things from Origins. However, this was just alright. It smells clean, but I never felt like I got much from it as a cleanser. My skin would still feel a little tight after washing with this and patting dry. I'm kind of disappointed in this product.2
I was excited to try this face wash because it was one of the highest reviewed products on birchbox, however I wasn't that impressed with it. I don't feel like my face REALLY gets clean with this stuff. It still feels grimy from the day after I wash it off, and if I am taking the time to wash my face, I want to be able to notice a difference. I don't feel like this face wash really gets into the pores like some of the other samples I have gotten. I also am not a huge fan of the smell. Its pretty strong.2
There wasn't anything I disliked about this product, it foamed nicely and didn't smell bad, I'm just not big on switching a face wash unless I have enough of it to give a fair trial.2
This cleanser used to be a staple of mine. I was excited to try it again. My whole face broke out in a red rash after using this cleanser.2
This cleanser feels great on. The problems I had were that it didn't remove my make up alone, and that it left a soapy residue feeling after using it.2
I have used Origins in the past and I don't really care for the smell and the way it makes my skin feel...2
I was disappointed in this product. After using it, it felt like I had washed my face with soap; my skin was tight and felt almost rubbery. The smell is a little odd too: smells like spearmint. Definitely a pass2
I could not get past the 'lemon pledge' scent and could not use past the initial use.2
I found that this wash left my face feeling "squeaky" clean like there was some residue that didn't completely rinse of. Not for me.2
