Meet what Air Repair calls the Swiss Army Knife of beauty products. This multitasking, all-natural skin salve can be applied anywhere and everywhere—to lips, hands, face, knees, elbows, and even cuticles—to instantly soothe and heal dry skin. The brand's revolutionary combination of emollients (sweet almond oil, fatty-acid rich lanolin, and vitamin E) effectively inhibits chronic inflammation (or inflam-aging) that causes dryness, irritation, and premature wrinkles. And it does so without parabens, petroleum, or mineral oil. Plus, the travel-friendly packaging makes it easy to slip into your carry-on, so you can be sure your skin stays soft and supple no matter your destination.
This balm is new to my beauty products but proving to get the job done well. It's a bit thinner in texture than a typical balm I would choose but still works well to moisturize. The oils in it sometimes make it my backup since I don't want to get those on my clothing. It has a really nice rosemary smell that tastes great when used as a lip balm.4
After getting a sample early on in my subscription, this was one of the first full-sized products I bought.
I use it almost exclusively on my lips, then rub the excess into my hands or cuticles.
It's thick enough that I don't know about using it for face or all over my hands as suggested -- but it's great to use like a lip balm with the "bonus" I described above.
The only real downside: If this is lying on its side for a while, the first drops that come out like sheer oil. Not good.
I really just used this on my hands - not sure if I like the texture for face or lips. Good moisturizer though.4
I use this cream on my lips mostly as a balm instead of chap stick. Sometimes I use it on my neck. I love the smell of it...I don't even know what the smell is but it reminds me of a spa. Sometimes I just apply it because of the theraputic scent.5
I bought a full size of this after getting this in my box. Works great on chapped lips! Lasts a long time too!5
I did not love this balm. I was looking for something to help with peeling hands during the winter. Unfortunately, this balm is much too oily to apply and then be able to use your hands for pretty much anything. I found I was making every nearby surface oily as well.1
I really liked the sample size I received, so I ordered the full size product. I have had it for a few weeks now and no matter how much I shake, knead or squeeze the product container (squeeze tube) all I get out of it is a thin oil. It seems like the ingredients have separated and I cannot reintegrate them. Disappointed and kind of annoyed!3
I tend to have dry lips and use lip balm 24/7. For the past few years I used one brand in particular and swore by it. Then I tried Air Repair's "Rescue Balm" and threw all the others out. A small amount is all that's needed and I find myself reaching for my lip balm less as it lasts without leaving a shiny, greasy residue on my lips. I cannot recommend this enough.5
Keeps lips moisturized, but I don't think it does any better a job than your typical, run-of-the-mill drug store Chapstick.4
This product is wonderful for saving my dry lips.
I'm outdoors a lot , the wind and sun are harsh.
I'll be trying it on my cuticles too.
