We never used to look forward to scrubbing, but all that changed when we found this natural exfoliating cleanser. It keeps skin looking fresh and smooth without the irritation of other sloughs. The star ingredient is rice starch, which binds with water molecules to banish dirt and dead skin.
This has a pleasant smell... Citrusy and maybe lemon grass. It has a nice amount of abrasion but was so oily I had to use cleanser afterwards to remove the oil. A bit like citrus scented cooking oil with granules .2
This wasn't what I'd call microdermabrasion. It also wasn't gentle. My skin was left stinging and not happy when I was done.2
This product was the third of its kind that I've tried, and was a bit disappointed since I've enjoyed other products from this brand in the past. This dermabrasion scrub felt too thick and gooey, and because of that I felt like it was more difficult to really scrub it into my skin. I also felt like it left somewhat of a "film" on my skin afterwards.2
I was surprised by how harsh this product was given how gentle the other origins products I use are. I have combination skin that is super sensitive, and this really hurt my face. The exfoliating beads are huge and my whole face turned red after using this and felt very raw. I do not recommend this for people with very sensitive skin.2
This worked well to exfoliate my skin however I have combination skin and it did cause my face to breakout. I think this product would work better for someone with dry skin.2
I didn't really feel that my skin was exfoliated after using this. More like washing my face with clay (smells about the same, too). It's great for that 'all natural' feel, but I like to feel like I really scrubbed my face after using an exfoliator.3
Love this brand and the smell of ALL of their products. This is great to use for dry skin during the winter months. I liked it, however, it think I may have broken out from it a few times.3
I woundn't call this a dermabration. A Nice, Gently, Polishing cleanser is a better description. It does leave the skin clean and fresh without drying it out though.3
I thought the product was ok when washing, I generally like a little more exfoliation, but this would be nice as a replacement for normal face wash. I felt like it took me a really long time to rinse off the residue from my face.3
Dermabrasion scrubs can accomplish more in one application than other great skin care products can over weeks of use. There is just something about a drastic and immediate removal of dead, dull skin that drastically boosts the youthful appearance of skin. This scrub is good, but I have another product that I feel is superior.3
