We never used to look forward to scrubbing, but all that changed when we found this natural exfoliating cleanser. It keeps skin looking fresh and smooth without the irritation of other sloughs. The star ingredient is rice starch, which binds with water molecules to banish dirt and dead skin.
This product smells good but has no exfoliating power whatsoever. It is thick and requires a lot of water to smooth on and rinse off. It didn't do anything. I am surprised that it has so many good reviews.2
The formula of this cleanser exfoliator is super thick, it barely moves to be spread across your face. It says that it is a gentle dermabrasion but for me personally it is way to gentle, I felt like because the formula is so thick and that it barely moves that I would be missing places on my face to cleanse and exfoliate. Once I rinsed the product off I felt like there was a film still left of my face of left over product. I honestly don't think I will ever use this product unless I seriously was in a pinch and rain out of other products that I currently have.2
I do enjoy scrubs. But didn't notice anything great about this one like many others. Same ol' scrub as many.2
This is a cream-based scrub with a sprinkling of tiny scrubbing particles. It isn't suitable as a facial scrub for me because the particles are too scratchy and it stings my face. I've tried using it as a body scrub but the particles are too small and too far apart to be effective over a larger surface area. It isn't moisturizing after rinsing, either. I vastly prefer other scrubs to this one.2
Let me start by saying I LOVE exfoliating my face, so when this came in my Birchbox, I was sooo excited!!
Well, much to my disappointment, this product didn't exfoliate one bit. So sad. I like my exfoliators to actually do just that, exfoliate. To top it off, it left my face feeling greasy, I actually had to wash my face again.
Way too rough for my skin, left my skin rough and damaged2
I normally love Origins but I feel they missed the mark on this one. First of all it felt more like a moisturizer or soap than a dermabrasion product as there were very few "beads" or whatever they're called in the product. The texture/consistency was way off- way too creamy to provide any good dermabrasion in my opinion. I didn't like smell either.2
It is hard to get the product off your face after rubbing it on your face. The smell is not bad but like for a product to have a nice smell.2
Really wish the samples were larger so you can get more than one use out of them.2
Didn't like it. At all. Smells and feels like cheap soap with sand mixed in it.2
