In the grand scheme of things, dealing with melting eye makeup is no worse than coping with a paper cut. That said, minor annoyances can be major distractions. This beige-tinted universal primer acts like a bandage by covering up fine lines and discoloration on and around your lids. At the same time, it works to prevent shadow from creasing and fading. So, while we can’t tell you how to avoid paper cuts (if you figure it out, let us know), this minor annoyance can quickly become a thing of the past.
This one always seems to dry out too fast on me... Probably halfway through use. It's ok at first. Would be so much better if they took Urban Decay's lead and switches from a bottle with a want to a squeeze tube.3
I like any primer for eyes but this has been my favorite. This lid primer is creamy and blends well. It's very light on the lids. I recommend you give it a try.5
I have hunted around for a lid primer for a long time and so many fall short! But this one works for my oily eyelids AND keeps shadows on my lids instead of flaking off into my sensitive allergy eyes. It's pricey but it does work. My only complaint is that it dries out pretty easily in the tube. I can still dig the product out with an orange stick, though, so it's not a deal breaker.5
This I primer made by Smashbox make sure eyeshadow stand out so well. The colors are more vivid and your eyeshadow stay on much longer and don't Show fine lines at all4
I love this. It keeps my eye shadow on great and it lasts all day long. It's small but worth it.4
This primer was ok. It held my eyeshadow however, it's a thick tinted primer and it was hard for me to blend well so I didn't have a weird line by my eyebrow. I would prefer an invisible primer over this. I don't think I will buy this again.2
Always looking for a great product and I found one!4
I'm totally sold on this product now. I love it and I'm not sure how I've gone most of my life without using a lid primer. My makeup is very minimalistic... I only use eyeshadow and mascara so this makes the little bit that I do so much better!5
I received this as a sample and then happily purchased afterwards. I hadn't used a primer before, but now I'm not sure that I can go without it! Highly recommend!
I've tried bunches of lid primers. Even the one everyone else swears by Urban Decay lid primer potion. I have a mature woman skin. So there's redness and small veins that are visible. The U.D. primer, while I'm sure does make shadow last and creates a good starting point does not provide a clean canvas for the shadow like the Smashbox lid primer provides so well. I use the Smashbox primer and not only does my shadow last through out the day without touch-ups, but I get truer color because of the neutral canvas it provides. It dries fast with no tackiness. Shadows glide on, no wrinkling or settling into fine lines. If you're over 40, this product is a must for your makeup routine. Even if your young, this product will not disappoint.5
