If our beauty routines are any indication, history truly has a tendency to repeat itself. This sampler set from Smashbox has inspired us to seek out some novelty in our makeup regimen. It’s packed with the brand’s best sellers in portable travel sizes. There are two lightweight primers for your face and lids, a double-duty mascara, a smudge-proof black pencil liner, and a nude gloss.
not worth paying for it, but if its free...try it. You might like a thing or two. I didnt like any of the products that came inside the try it box.1
The only thing that is worth it was the face primer the eye primer came in dry the lipgloss not my fav. Color and the eyeliner was alright.1
I'm giving this a terrible review because of how bad the mascara is. It's a nightmare. It doesn't stay on your lashes and it smudged everywhere but somehow it wouldn't get off of my cheeks! I spent a half an hour at a wedding trying to wipe it off. It was very embarrassing when people had to tell me I had makeup everywhere and I didn't even touch my eyes!1
This is not worth the 100 points I gave you for it. It is definitely not worth $10.00. This is unworthy of being in the Birchbox family. Save your points for something you might really like, not a mystery purchase that you don't want or need.
I ordered this to try out the infamous Smashbox. The mascara is decent but not worth purchasing the full size and the gloss was cake like and streaky. I would not recommend this.1
I do not like the majority of the items in this kit. I have tried for several days to make sure it wasn't a fluke, and nope, it wasn't. The Photo Finish Lid Primer is dry and I feel it changes the color of my shadow, the Limitless Eye Liner smuged horribly, the Full Exposure Mascara was no better than the drugstore mascara in the pink and green tube and the Photo Finish Foundation Primer was only eh.
I did like the Lip Enhancing Gloss so maybe one out of four isn't the worst thing ever..... For now I will stick with what I have been using and not be disappointed.
Product is ok, however the sizes you will receive if you purchase this set are TINY sample sizes. If you're going to spend your money, you would be better off purchasing the full size. This is definitely not what I was expecting.1
I love being able to try multiple products in one inexpensive kit, but after a few tries I can't say anything here has become a regular in my makeup routine. The pencil liner is probably the best bet here.2
Products were dry and the lid primer was especially light on content. Wouldn't buy this again. Mascara ran easily and was gummy.2
These products weren't bad but they were forgettable. I'm not sold on primers. What's the point? I can't tell any difference when I use them. The lip gloss smelled good and was a nice neutral for wearing over lipstick.2
