If we could go back in time and catch a glimpse of Greta Garbo’s vanity table, we’re pretty sure we’d find a little pot of rouge like this one there. The versatile lip and cheek cream is making its rounds through Hollywood—in fact, it appeared in the Oscar-winning movie The Artist. Designed by Bésame founder and vintage beauty buff Gabriela Hernandez, it takes its influences from the ’30s with a red and gold floral tin.
Works best when i just brush my fingers over lightly and then dot over my cheeks- gives a very natural healthy flush that lasts all days- easy to overdue it though
Once again, Birchbox did not disappoint! A little goes a really long way! I have a feeling that this is going to last me for a very long time! Love it!5
This is the first Besame product that I purchased several years ago and I absolutely love it! I usually don't like to purchase beauty products sight unseen, but I had read so many great reviews on it that I figured it was a safe bet. Also, it is such a great deal because this stuff literally lasts FOREVER! I only use a little dab on my cheeks, blend, and done. At first I was a bit nervous of the bright color, but you can truly make it as subtle or intese as you want. I also really love the vintage look of the packaging and the fact that this make up brand is made by a woman, Gabriela Hernandez, who really knows her stuff and loves vintage beauty like I do. I have several other items from Besame and they are all fantastic!5
VERY pigmented, a little goes a long way. This tin will last forever. Dab two or three small dots on the cheek bone and blend well for great cheek color, or apply to lips for full color. I have used this on olive colored skin and on dark skin and it looks beautiful on both!5
Love this!! Will aways keep buying. This matte no shimmer not oily. Last forever. Can intensify if u like. Super blendable and no smell. Just absolutely love!5
You won't be disappointed. I bought this blindly, having never sampled before and only having read the reviews. I love it. It's definitely one of those hues that looks good with any skin tone. I haven't tried it as a blush, but this is my new favorite go-to when I want some red lips. And the tin is so cute and chic!5
I'm a sucker for vintage packaging, and the staying power of this cream blush is amazing! Be careful to use a light hand and blend well though, because it's very pigmented. I wish they'd come out with more shades (besides apricot)!5
Gorgeous color! Like the packaging, a little hard to close but not a big a deal. A little goes a long way!5
what can I say, I love vintage and this reminds me of vintage, I use a little rouge everyday on the apple of my cheeks and even as a lip tint!!5
This is so much better than the blush in powder form because this one stays on all day and a little dab on the finger is enough to rub on one cheek, plus the color goes well for my olive skintone.5
