Agave has joined the ranks of quinoa and flaxseed as go-to favorites among healthy food devotees, but this sugar alternative can do more than just sweeten your tea or coffee. The natural sweetener does wonders for hair too. Nourishing agave sugars are the workhorse behind this nourishing trio, which leaves hair seriously smooth, silky, and shiny without weighing it down.
This gets 4 stars only because the hair oil deserves a million.
The shampoo and conditioner are useless and leave my unruly hair limp and lifeless, and they don't detangle my wavy mess.
The hair oil, savior of saviors.
I am wash and go. My long, thin (but a lot of it), wavy hair is a hot mess and it would make Medusa look put together, it lives in a bun for work. When I want to wear my hair down I wash and condition with my usual and then use a full dropper of the Agave oil on my still wet hair. Wrapped up in the towel while I dress and paint the face, I unleash perfect, happy, calm waves that dry and stay that way.
Hair oil = Miracle serum
Shampoo & Conditioner = waste of $
I love it , my scalp is not itchy anymore after the 2nd day, works great. Too bad they are small and I use a lot since I have ;long hair .5
It been 3 months now but still i can feel my hair soft and tidy. I give 4 start but i recommend the product user not to hair wash as soon as you come out from the saloon after treatment.
I purchased this sample for the oil alone, after receiving the sample in a BirchBox. Unfortunately the shampoo and conditioner were a bit of a disappointment. Both products work just fine but they don't hydrate the hair. I guess thats the point of purchasing the oil as well.4
Decent moisturizing combo, but does not work as well in drier months on my daughters' dry, frizzy, tangly messes of hair. It seems to actually work better during the summer for moisture control, perhaps because we are not also using a hair dryer? We are using it now but will switch to something else in the fall. Otherwise, love the smell, packaging, and the oil goes a long way.4
I have never used a hair product that has left me this satisfied, love the smell and love they way my hair feels after I have used them, soft, soft, soft!!! no weigh down either!! the oil may seem heavy and sticky as you apply to damp hair but when your hair dries, it is soft, soft, soft. This is my new hair regimen from now on.5
I bought this product due to enjoying the sample of hair oil I received in a birchbox. The oil gets a GREAT review. It made my hair shiny and smoother, even after only two days of using it. I can't say the same for the shampoo and conditioner. They didn't seem to help with the dryness and breaking problems.3
I am a huge fan of the agave hair oil so I decided to upgrade to the trio. The shampoo is decent (it feels both nourishing and like its actually cleaning my hair) but I actually hate the way the conditioner feels. I would expect it to be really rich, but the texture is weird and it doesnt do anything extra for my hair. Probably wont purchase that part of the package again.3
I bought the trio after receiving the healing oil in my Birchbox. I really like the Agave Healing Oil. I did not care for the shampoo. I was disappointed in the conditioner the most though. It was very runny and thin. Did not work well on my hair at all.1

I can't say the same for the shampoo and conditioner. They didn't seem to help with the dryness and breaking problems I was having with my hair. Maybe it is because they are more equipped to deal with frizzy hair rather than weak, dry hair. They also smelled kind of like sunscreen, which is not a scent I care to have in my hair. Overall they worked as well as I would expect any shampoo and conditioner to work, but they just didn't help in the area I was hoping they would, but hey 1 outta 3 is not so bad!4
