The quickest way to update your eye makeup? Swap your traditional black eyeliner for a rich colored one. stila’s smudge stick liners are gorgeously wearable and come in a variety of rich shades that make eyes pop. Better yet, the liners are waterproof and stay vibrant all day.
These eyeliners by stila are so incredible, once you try them you'll never go back! The range of colors is awesome, I own the shades Stingray, Damsel, Spice, and Lionfish (as I prefer neutral eyes). Because these are waterproof, they are perfect for tight lining and water lining. True to the name, these will smudge within the first few seconds to create a sultry, blurred eyeliner effect if that is your preference. Plus, these last 8 months to a year with daily use. At $20, these eyeliners are so worth it!
CAUTION: The eyeliner does NOT retract so don't ever twist the whole stick up. This has been a problem for some, so I thought I would mention it.
I like these eyeliners and love the range of colors, but I don't find them to have the best staying power, and the ones with glitter can go on patchy.4
I have been using this product for a while now. I had been using Bare Minerals eyeliners for a long time, but then a friend convinced me I needed a fun color in my arsenal. I ended up buying the Peacock one and am now anxiously awaiting the other colors I have to run out so I can buy new ones from stila. For someone who doesn't spend a lot of time doing makeup (and often forgets I have eye makeup on and rubs at my eyes), these are perfect.5
This is one of my favorite eye liners, primarily because of the waterproof factor. I know when it goes on that it will stay put. And it effortlessly glides on when applying. The deep brown color of Damsel goes well with dark brown eyes.5
I was looking for a slightly pearly white eyeliner and this one is great! Great for lining the bottom waterline and long lasting.4
I got the Lionfish color. It's hard to tell from the itty-bitty photos on BB's site, but it's a copper color with a tiny bit of shimmer. I have green eyes that usually look brown when I wear black eyeliner. But I put this color on and my eyes looked greener than ever! It went on smoothly. I was able to apply with only one hand and my eyes open. No rubbing or tugging required. It went on as a straight line, but as the day went on, it started to smudge naturally and it looked like I was born that way, seriously. It's awesome! I don't think I'll ever wear black eyeliner again.5
It seems like every time I leave the house, I come home with big dark smudges under my eyes. Not so with this wonderful liner. I put it on, went out in the sun and heat, rubbed my eyes.....and not a smudge in sight. I would highly recommend this eye liner.5
Man, it sure would be nice to get one of these in my box instead of 1 item I can use and the other 4 I can't, most of the time. Getting ready to switch to the Allure Gift Box Program.5
I have been a loyal user of another brand of eyeliner (think mall with black and white store) for years. When I tried this I instantly fell in love with it. It stays put as well as any other eyeliner I've tried (they never stay as long as you'd like!) but the fact that it never needs sharpening is awesome. I have it in purple and just ordered another shade. Worth a try!5
I got this liner and, as someone who has been using only liquid liner for a few years now, I did love this. It goes on smoothly and stays on. It also cleans up really easily. The purple is quite dark, but still fun.5
