We still remember the lyrics to “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes,” but somehow we always forget to pay attention to our skin from the neck down. Now we’re taking a cue from the old children’s song and turning to this targeted cream, which mends cracked soles, crepey elbows, and dry knees. The key ingredient is a patented keratin protein: the product of over fifteen years of clinical research, this wound-healing active speeds up your skin’s own repair process.
This product might work for some, but not for me. I'm very particular with my lotions in that I don't like to feel as if I have lotion on after I use it. I don't like the tacky or greasy feel that is left over with many lotions. I also am not a fan of the smell.
1This product is deliciously thick and creamy. It's perfect for extra dry elbows and feet during the winter months. I've keep it in my nightstand and have been putting it on before bed. I wake up to smooth skin which is a great way to start your day! I highly recommend this to anyone with extra dry skin.
5And doesn't really deliver. It felt nice to apply, but there wasn't any discernible difference in the texture of my heels or elbows for it to pique my interest enough to want to buy it. It took quite a while for me to feel like I could put on a long sleeve shirt or socks without having lotion rub into the fabric, which may be part of the point, but it seemed to me that I could get a lot more bang for my buck with coconut oil and vitamin E oil.
3I want to start with the good - Retrospect Feet, Knees & Elbows is a lovely thick moisturizing lotion that completely dominated my dry skin and taught even my heels who's boss. The moisture lasted a long time....but unfortunately, so did a sharp, almost chemical smell from the lotion. This is how I know it wasn't just me - my cat, the one who loves the smell of bleach and other harsh cleaners, couldn't get enough of it.
Retrospect Feet, Knees & Elbows works great, but I just can't deal with the sharp smell.
