Every once in a blue moon, we reach a beauty milestone. In this case, it’s finding the perfect concealer that also doubles as a treatment. Invented by an ambitious cult brand, this mineral-based formula is designed to both camouflage and treat our under eye circles and dark spots so they can do a permanent disappearing act. It hydrates skin with proven moisturizers, enhances with naturally derived silicone, and protects with the patented MST Complex of antioxidants and vitamins.
I have really light skin and this product was still too light. The texture was good and so was the consistency but it was just too dark for under my eyes.2
It is like a mousse gel that will fall off your finger if you held a glob and tipped it over toward the floor. Used this on a few pimples and under my eyes. It got into every little flaky crevice on my problem area and just looked more gross. I tried what I could to make that dissipate before leaving the house, but save from wiping it all the way off, nothing worked. It didn't impress me under my eyes on normal smooth, soft skin. So... I'm giving this sample away to anyone that wants it.2
Pros: Good packaging design (easy to put in your makeup bag). No perfume added, just the normal makeup smell. Blends easily. Good coverage.
Cons: Smallish sample size. EXTREMELY orange compared to my light olive skin tone (I could never wear this as anything but maybe hairline pimple concealer or it would be very obvious where my "problem areas" are). Thick formula, feels a bit goopy on the skin.
I really had an issue with the consistency of the product. Too mushy and caked2
I don't use under eye creams very often, but if I do, I wasn't really drawn to this one. I've received others from Birchbox in the past that I liked more than this one. Doesn't really do much for me, and probably wont get much use out of it.2
This was too dark for my skin tone and I was unable to wear it to even make any judgment on the product.2
This was okay. I wouldn't necessarily deem it miraculous. Personally, I didn't think it was much different than drug store products I've used.2
I had to give this to a friend because the colour wasn't even close. I wore it for a day, saw myself in natural light, and then was embarrassed that I had walked around for hours with orange splotches on my face. It really felt like a nice product though, so i was pretty disappointed that I couldn't use it.2
I thought it was a little on the dry side, and it was a little cakey. But thats me. Im not too fond of concealers.2
This is okay for light coverage but does not cover dark under eye circles very well2
