Hunching in front of our laptop screens and working until the wee hours of the morning is not, it turns out, a recipe for glowing skin. However, this face highlighter from Benefit could fool anyone who’s unfamiliar with our sleep habits. The creamy formula creates a soft-focus, healthy champagne glow on cheeks and brow bones. A few swipes and behold: You’re the proud owner of a gleaming complexion.
I have olive skin so this product did not do anything for me. I think it's more for ladies with lighter skin but it did nothing and I really don't see the point.1
They missed the mark with this product. It's terribly streaky and overly sparkly. The texture is cakey so it doesn't make for a smooth or effortless application. It doesn't give a subtle glow or highlight even when blended in. I don't know how they produced something like this.1
i own this, and have for a while. i think it is OK but i prefer a powder highlight. it could be used as an eyeshadow1
I strongly dislike this highlighter. It's personal preference, I'd rather have a powder highlighter.1
I don't see the hype, the texture was oily and the color made me seem ashy. Not a fan, there are better Benefit products out there.1
I swatched the formula at sephora a ton before actually purchased, and am so glad I did. It really highlights my cheekbones with about being sparkly and shiny. Just beautiful1
Not really clear on what this is. And after blending it didn't look any different. I saw no highlights/change/difference, nor did I understand what was supposed to be highlighted. Maybe the directions weren't very clear...maybe user error? I suppose I now know facial highlighters are not for me. Most likely will never purchase.1
Not for me at all; I have dark skin so if I attempt to use this product I fear I will look like a clown! I'm sure it does work for users who have light skin, but I for one found no use for it.2
I thought this was a highlighter. I'm very pale and it was actually lighter than my skin. I used it above the brow and on the cheekbone and it just kind of looked like I used foundation it didn't rub it in. Confused.2
I guess it does what it is supposed to do, but personally I didn't care for the product. Was too greasy feeling and didn't work well with my powder makeup.2
