The French all seem to have one thing in common: perfect skin. Maybe it’s in their genes, but we suspect their savvy skincare regimes deserve equal credit. Behold this unisex moisturizer, a favorite of hip Parisian girls and guys, which hasn’t been available stateside until now. It’s made with an all-natural blend of botanicals to leave skin soft and matte.
I have problems with acne, & currently use a few prescription topical lotions to help my complexion. Using this product made my nose & t-zone peel underneath my makeup. The lotion & my foundation beaded up & flaked off.1
First of all, I love the sample sizes. I live out of a suitcase (flight attendant) so I take my Birchbox samples on the road and try them there.
I use Nuxe products (I am middle aged with sensitive skin) and am quite happy with that regimen.
I have sensitive skin, and this exacerbated a slight issue that was starting. Nice smell, but not for me.1
I didn't like how the lotion went on my skin. The fragrance was great, but left an odd grainy feeling I didn't like.1
If you're looking for a moisturizer that doesn't feel like a moisturizer, this might be for you. It's texture very thick, almost vaseline-like, and it feels like it dries on your face instantly (hence the matte look/feel).1
This moisturizer may work for women who don't wear makeup, but for me it rolled up/peeled off as soon as I started applying any other makeup or really even touched my face. I love the theory of a matifying moisturizer as I have combination skin and would love to have it built into a moisturizer rather than using a primer, but this is certainly not the product for me.1
For me this product is total garbage. It was too thick and did not absorb into my skin at all. I had to wash my face an reapply a better moisturizer to get on with my day. 1st world problems, I know.1
Ok, I really love when you send me moisturizers so I was excited to try this product; but it really didn't work for me. The texture seemed to gum-up, for lack of a better word, when I was rubbing it in. You know when you use a face peel and the dead skin cells rub into small white balls? That happened every time I used this product. It was totally weird.1
I liked that it was light weight and it was cool that it had a mattifying effect, but I didn't care for the smell.1
This moisturizer was a lot thicker and heavier than my usual moisturizer, so I had a hard time with it. It also peeled off my skin after applying it, and I didn't like that at all. It made applying my makeup over it very gross and messy.1
